I couldn't even begin to describe how nervous I was. It was now time for my first day at my new school, I didn't know anyone at all, I could just imagine me sitting there at recess and lunch, all alone with everyone laughing at me. What was I going to do.

I spent most of the morning working on my appearance, if I wanted to make a good impression I had to look fairly decent. But after spending an hour or so on my outfit and not finding anything that caught my eye, I went with the usual black jeans and white shirt except this time I had to wear black leather shoes. I was hoping so much that I would fit in, but I don't know what any of these people were like.

After spending another quarter of an hour on my hair, making sure it was scruffed up just the right way. I decided I should probably try to actually get to school on time.

"Bye Mum, bye Dad. Have a great day. See you this afternoon Tyde and have a good first day, hope it's not too rough on you."
I gave my parents a hug and quick kiss on the cheek. I left the house and looked for anyone else who might possibly attend my school and that was when an extremely attractive guy caught my eye.

"Hi, sorry to bother you but do you go the Ridgewood High ?"
I stopped the boy in the middle of the street and he turned, looking extremely un-impressed. He looked me up and down, then nodded.

He turned away and continued walking down the street, as I jogged to catch up to him I could see a little smirk from the side of his head. He stopped and pointed to the school, he seemed really nice but what would in know, I didn't know anything about him. Not even his name.

"Hey listen thanks for walking me here, it's my first day and I'm just so nervous."
I smiled and stopped the American for a moment. He stared at the ground but glanced up for a moment.

"You're that new Australian boy aren't you ?"
He leaned on the school fence and looked up as I slouched back next to him, we slid our backs down the back, metal fencing and sat on the dead grass.

I nodded and felt my face burn, I knew it had gone bright red so I allowed my hair to flip over and cover my face as much as possible.

The bell rang and I looked over to the office, I had to head over there to let the ladies know I was here and ask them to show me to me class. After all I was new here and I didn't know where anything thing is. We stood up and looked around for a moment.

   "I'm Connor."
The American held out his hand waiting , I brought my hand up and shook his happily, he had a tight grip that was for sure. He stepped back, turned around and looked over his shoulder.

   "And you?"
He smirked raising his eyebrows and scanning me up and down once more.

"I'm Troye." I replied while slowly backing away, walking towards the office.

   "See you around Troye."
