Hello! Nice to see you again. So,today we gonna learn more consonants and vowels. So~what we waiting for? Let's go!!

So,first we will learn five more consonants. It's ㅂ,ㅅ,ㅇ,ㅈ,ㅊ.

ㅂ[B/P]
has two sounds. If is the initial consonant of a word,it sound like [p]. If not,it is pronounced as [b]. For example,바보 (a fool) has the sound value [pabo].

ㅅ[S]
is pronounced as [s] in the word 'snake'. Keep in mind this Korean [s] sound is not strong as [s] in the word 'same'.

ㅇ[NULL/NG]
is pronounced as [ng] in the word 'song' or 'hang',only when it used at the end of a syllable. For instance,(a river) has the sound value [kang].But if is used at the beginning of a syllable, it has no sound. For example,아기 (a baby) is pronounced as [agi].

ㅈ[J/Ch]
If is the initial consonant of a word,it sounds like [ch]. If not, it is pronounced as [j]. For example, 부자 (the rich) has the sound value [puja].

ㅊ[CH]
is pronounced more strongly than ,so you can think of it as the hard [ch].

Now, we'll be move to learn vowels. There are five vowels that we're about to learn. It's ㅡ,ㅣ,ㅔ,ㅛ,ㅠ. Let's go, go, go!!

ㅡ [eu]
is pronounced as [eu] in the word 'cook' or 'good'.

ㅣ[i]
is pronounced as [i] in the word 'tree' or 'week'.

ㅔ[e]
is pronounced as [e] in the word 'egg' or 'men'.You can also think of it as the "eh" sound. I know you're confused about the sound difference between and ㅔ. Theoretically, there is a slight difference in sound. To pronounce correctly, mouth should be more opened wide than ㅔ. However, in real life, this difference has not been observed anymore. So you just need to learn how to "spell" some words.

ㅛ[yo]
is pronounced as [yo] in the word "yo".

ㅠ[yu]
is the combination of ㅣ [i] and ㅜ[u] ,so it is pronounced as [yu] like the word 'you'.
