Authors note!
Hey guys! I'm really sorry that I haven't updated in months! Life has been crazy because of school but hopefully I'll update more in the summer. Anyway, Allegiant is coming out and I'm debating wether of not I want to see it because it's not like the book at all!! So if you want to rant in the comments about Allegiant feel free to!

Tris pov
My mom gave me fifty bucks and told me to go by some clothes because I always complain when I shop with her.
I go into Bath and Body Works and see that they're having a ton of sales! So I buy three lotions and four candles.
I leave Bath and Body Works and head toward Dicks for some new volleyball spanks. As I'm walking I see Tobias and my heart starts pounding and I can feel my self turn bright red. My legs won't move and people keep bumping into me.
"MOVE TRIS!" I say to myself but my body doesn't get the message.
"Move before he sees you!" I keep telling myself.
My legs finally start moving and I go out of the crowd and lean on banister to calm my self down. My back is towards Tobias so I can't see him.
"Please don't see me. Please don't see me." I say under my breath.
I turn my head quickly to see what store he's at and I see he's at Victoria's Secret. My brain starts thinking a thousand miles per second. Why would he be there? He doesn't have a mom or sister. Unless he's shopping for Uriah but why would he do that?
Wait.
He's with Lynn.
My heart stops and sinks to my feet.
I can feel the tears about to flood from my eyes.
"Don't cry here. You can't cry here. There's people everywhere. Pull yourself together." I say to myself.
Oh my god he's coming this way! I can hear his voice and Lynn's behind me.
"PULL OUT YOUR PHONE AND PRETEND TO BE TEXTING!" I scream in my mind.
My hands are shaking so much that I can't move them. I'm paralyzed with fear.
Someone bumps into me and I drop my bag and everything falls out of it into the floor. I look to see who it is and sure enough its Tobias.
"You're screwed." I say to myself.
"Oh sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you. Let me help you." I hear him say.
I'm already on the floor trying to pick up everything but I'm shaking so much I can't get a grip on anything.
"Thanks." I say in a weird high pitched shaky voice.
My eyes haven't met his yet.
I look on the floor and see he's got everything and the bag is gone.
"Here take my hand, I'll help you up." Tobias says.
I'm somehow able to move my arm and I put my shaky hand in his. Without lifting my head up he pulls me up.
I can feel him looking at me so I lift my head up and my eyes meet his.
"Tris?" He says now his voice is shaking.
I don't move my hand from his and he doesn't move his hand away. We just stare into each others eyes and I swear the whole world stopped spinning.
"Tobias!" I hear Lynn say.
I pull my hand away from his and I look down.
"There you are! I thought I lost you." Lynn says to Tobias.
Without looking back I start running away from Tobias and Lynn.
I didn't pay attention to where I was going and I ran into a lot of people and they all yelled "Watch where you're going!"
I find my self at the girls bathroom and I go into an empty stall and start to sob.
