Tris Pov
***********NEXT SCHOOL YEAR*********
******NIGHT BEFORE THE FIRST DAY*****
I can't believe that I'm finally a senior! Woah next year I'll be a freshmen in college. Oh my gosh! I better focus on my grades this year.
"Tris!" Mom yells.
"What!" I yell back.
"Come say goodbye to Caleb he's leaving."
"Okay."
I walk downstairs and find mom almost sobbing and dad wiping away a tear. They're really emotional over Caleb leaving for collage.
"I'm going to miss you Tris." Caleb says as he wraps me in a hug.
"I'm going to miss you to, big brother." I say into his shoulder.
"Promise me you'll call and text me?!" Caleb says.
"Of course! Who else could I rant to!" I say.
Caleb always puts up with my rants. It doesn't matter what they're about. He's always there for me. Crap! Now I'm starting to cry!
"Tris! Don't cry! I'm going to visit and you can come visit me in Spain anytime!"
"Okay. Promise?" I say like a little kid.
"Promise." He says as he hugs me again.
He gives me a kiss on the cheek and then goes and hugs mom and dad.
"Love you son." My dad says as he hugs him.
"Love you to." Caleb says.
Mom is basically a sobbing mess now so I go and hug her. Why does Caleb have to go to college in Spain? Why can't he go to one in New York?
"I have to catch my flight. I love you guys!" Caleb says as a sob escapes him.
I run and give him a hug right before he leaves the front door. I miss him already.
Once Caleb leaves I go back to my room. Tobias want to Skype. I look like crap but oh well.
"Hey beautiful." Tobias says.
"Hey." I reply.
"Did Caleb leave?"
"Yes."
I can't help it I start crying.
"Tris. Its ok! He'll text you and visit you."
"I know but it won't be the same."
Now I can't stop crying. Oh lord. I hear Uriah in the background yelling for Tobias.
"Tris I gotta go. Dinner time."
"Okay. Love you babe."
"Love you to."
He hangs up and I cry more.
*******NEXT DAY*********
My alarm won't shut up. I slam my fist on my phone and turn it off. 5:30! That's to early to be waking up. Ugh but I have to.
I walk out of bedroom and into the bathroom to shower and get ready. For my outfit I decide to keep it simple. For my shirt I put on a floral crop top, black tank top, jean shorts and black vans. Makeup is normal but I decide to curl my hair.
I get my backpack, headphones, phone and phone charger and leave my room. Once I walk into the kitchen I see my dad making breakfast.
"Hey dad." I say.
"Hey baby girl." He replies and then gives me a kiss on the head.
"There's muffins, waffles and eggs."
"Okay."
I grab a blueberry muffin and make a waffle. Once I'm done eating I head out the door.
I get in my car and decide to play music. I settle on classical. I'm such a loser but whatever.
As I drive up to the school I see....
