Forever and Always

Chapter 9

A/N: I was too lazy to edit this chapter so there are probably typos and other mistakes I'll probably edit it later... Maybe...

Devin's POV

We've been touring for 3 months now and tomorrow was out home show. I was really anxious because I wanted to see my dog but in order to do that I have to see Kylie and I'm not sure if I'm ready for that yet. I sigh and pull my blankets around me and lean my head back agains the wall of my bunk, that's when I hear my curtain slide open, which frustrates me slightly I really didn't want to talk right now. I look over to see who it is and Ricky's standing there.

"Are you alright?" He asks with concern.

"Yeah I'm fine," I say with a fake smile.

He looks at me skeptically but doesn't press the subject any further, and walks  away.

"Wait... Ricky, I'm not okay."

He turns around, "What's wrong?"

I move over and make room for him in my bunk and he climbs in my bunk and sits across from me. I sigh and close my curtain to give us a little bit of privacy.

"I want to see Lucifer tomorrow, but in order to do that I have to see Kylie, and I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet."

He thinks for a moment, "What if I go pick him up so you do you can spend some time with him and I'll take him back when you're done."

I smile happily "Would you really do that for me?" I ask excitedly.

"Of course I would Dev," he says smiling.

I throw myself into his arms, "Thank you so mush Ricky you're the best!"

He laughs and hugs me "No problem, I know how much that dog means to you."

I let go of him, "I should probably let you get to sleep it's getting pretty late," I say.

"I'm not that tired but I'll go if you want to go to sleep."

"I'm not tired either, wanna just hangout in here for a while?" I ask hopefully.

"Sure," Ricky says smiling his adorable half smile.

Ricky and I stay up for a while talking and listening to music quietly so we don't wake up the other guys. I can't deny my feelings for him anymore, but I still can't tell him either. After all he probably doesn't even like me the same way. Eventually Ricky and I both fell asleep together in my bunk.

Ricky's POV

I woke up the next morning in Devin's arms with my face buried in his chest. I didn't want to wake him so I laid there half awake half asleep in his warm embrace. It's too bad he's still kinda upset about this whole Kylie thing. If he wasn't still in love with her I would probably tell him how I felt, but i couldn't throw that at him while his heart was still so broken. After laying there for a few minutes I fell Ghost start to wake up, so i pretend to still be asleep in hopes that he'll hold me longer. As desperate as that might sound I just wanted to be in my arms, and I wasn't fully expecting him to keep cuddling me once he was awake anyways. To my surprise he keeps holding me and not only that he runs his fingers soothingly through my hair. After laying in Devin's arms for a while I decided fully wake up and as I did he unfortunately slowly started to pull away from me.

"Morning Ghost," I say as I stretch.

"Good morning," he says as he smiles down at me.

"What time is it?" I ask.

He checks his phone, "It's already 2," he says laughing.

We decide both get up, throw some sweat pants on, and go to the front f the bus to get something to eat because we were starving.

"It's about time you guys woke up," Chris says as we walk into the main area.

We both laugh and pour our cereal, which isn't very easy while driving down a bumpy highway. As we eat we talk with the guys and as we're finishing up our breakfast Jordan pulls off the highway and into a gas station and Devin and I both quickly go back to the bunk area, grab our shirts and cigarettes and head outside.

We find a tree a decent distance away from the gas and stand under it while we smoke.when we're done we stomp out our butts and head back to the bus. When we get back everyone is back in their bunks so Ghost and I pick a movie and sit in the lounge to watch it.
