It was Wednesday morning, I woke up and realised today is the day I've been waiting for my whole life, the day I go on the biggest trip of my life. My flight was at 2:30pm so by the time I got up, got dressed, triple checked my suitcase and picked up my friend it, was time to leave. You never know what can happen when you get to an airport, your flight cancelled, delayed or even missing, but lucky enough for me, none of them occurred. As the clock struck 2:15, I went to the gates with my carry on luggage and my ticket in my hand. My friend Abbey was standing right next to me more excited than ever, as was I. After our tickets got scanned we hugged each other and ran to the plane to find our seats, we got the window seat of course, to experience the amazing view when taking off and landing.. All the lights and how they glow ever so bright at night and the fluffy white clouds in the day.
