Rapunzel

I finally arrived at school, I checked my phone for the time; it's already 7:30 AM.

Just as I expected.

I quickly get my books and bag in the passenger's seat and got out of the car. As I stood up, I remember that I hurt my foot earlier. God. I hissed in pain as my one arm grabbed my injured foot and quickly massage it.

I need to arrive at my class ASAP, I just ignore the pain. I slowly tiptoed avoiding the injured area of my foot. This is taking too much time. I need to go faster. I decided to run through the hallway. I don't care if it hurts.

I ran as fast as I can; trying to be not-so-late, but actually, I'm already late.

I was running, then suddenly, I felt my foot hurting harshly and it really sting. I can't run straight. And suddenly my foot gave up. I lost my balance and I felt an impact on the right side of my arm.

Shit!

My body fell on the floor as I yelped in pain. I saw my books fell on the concrete floor.

Ugh! It frickin' hurts!

I can't feel my whole right arm. It felt numb. I slowly get up by using my left arm positioning myself to sitting position. I felt relieved, just a bit.

I searched for people to call for help but they are all in their rooms by now.
I look at my right arm. GodIt'ss swelling.

Geez, I think I'm in trouble.

I quickly massaged my arm, trying to ease another pain. But it didn't help a bit. It kept on swelling. I need to go to the clinic.

But now, I have no idea what to do. I checked the time. It's 7:40 already. I began to panic as I slowly stand up. I picked my books and stuff from the floor and pile it one by one.

Now, how can I carry these things? also, Where's my breakfast?

I search everywhere to find my food but then I heard something behind me.

"Hey!" I heard someone calling from behind me.

I turned myself around to see who's there. I saw a girl, holding a paper bag as she began approaches me.

"Is this yours?" she said with a strong Scottish accent as she showed me the paper bag.

Woah her accent tho...

"Uh, Yes that's mine" I replied. How come did she have my breakfast? I looked at her As she began to walk towards me.

As I walk towards her, her eyes landed on my right arm. "Holy- girl? you alright!?" she exclaimed. I look at my arm as I slowly hid it behind me.

She approached me and handed me the paper bag. I took it as she looked at me with a worried expression. "Lemme sees," she said.

"No, it's nothing," I replied. As I stepped back.

"No don't say nothing. You're injured. What happened?" she snapped.

Oh, this girl makes me wanna spill my guts out. Why does she care? And do I even know her?

"Um, excuse me, but, do I even know you?" I said, trying to be polite.

"Girl, I'm just concern to you. It seems you hurt yourself," she replied.

Now, she really annoys me.

"It's just a scratch, I swear," I replied.

She quickly walks behind me and held both my arms. My eyes widened as I screamed in agonizing pain.

"Fuuuck! What's wrong with you?" I screamed at her. As I stepped back.

"See, you're injured, now lemme take you to the clinic I swear it will help you to ease the pain, and you can eat you're breakfast there while resting. And I'm sorry I did that" she said.

I look at my arm as I massage it gently.
Hm, maybe she's right, I need to go, the pain won't go away. And I admit that I want to go to the clinic in the first place. And also, I didn't eat my breakfast yet. I'm starving. But she frickin squeeze my injured arm and it frickin hurts.

"I swear if you'll do that again, I will punch you in the face. Be thankful that I am injured right now." I snapped at her.

"I just wanted to help you," she replied.

"By squeezing my arm? more like you are trying to make it worse. Ha, thank you." I replied as I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever, c'mon let's go to the clinic," she said. She held my books and she grabs my other arm as she guides me to the clinic.

"By the way, I'm Merida, you can call me Mer. if you want" she said.
