I walk through the thick snow in my wellies. My headphones are stuck in my ears and I can't hear a thing. Suddenly my hat's pulled over my eyes and someone is spinning me around. They pick me up bridal style and plant a kiss on my lips. I push the hat up off my eyes and smile at Matt. I lean in and kiss him again. He sets me down and pulls away from me. I smile at him and he takes my hand.
"So whered'ya wanna go today?" he asks casually.
I frown and say, "It's a school day".
"Wouldn't you like to go somewhere else?".
"We're in school uniform, we'll get caught" I say, but he just grins at me.
"You can buy t-shirts and hoodies here".
I think for a minute and then turn to him. "You got tickets to Green Day?" I ask.
He nods and I shriek. I jump up and hug him. We walk further down the road and wait at the bus stop,talking about our favourite albums. The bus pulls up and we hop on. Matt pays the driver. He looks at us and says
"Shouldn't yiz be in school".
"Don't tell" I say, putting a finger to my lips.
He smiles and makes an x shape over his heart.
I grin and run to the back of the bus. I lie down on the seats and Matt comes and sits opposite me. He just stares at me and I blush self conciously.
"What?" I ask.
"I love you".
