Chapter 1 - Back in Time, Forward Too

~Epilogue Time, Boruto's POV~

"Boruto!" my dad, Naruto Uzumaki, hollered, reaching for my hand as I was pulled into the scroll by Sarada.

What happened was, my sister, Himawari Uzumaki, had accidentally dropped one of our dad's scrolls. The scroll was knocked open and my little sister was sucked into the scroll, but not before Sarada grabbed her hand. Sarada had held on tightly, but still got pulled towards the scroll. She reached for my hand, and I obliged as she got pulled in after my sister.

At that moment, Hinata Uzumaki, my mom, Naruto, Uncle Sasuke Uchiha, and Aunt Sakura Uchiha entered the Hokage's library. The Seventh Hokage immediately reached for my hand and grabbed it. We were pulled closer to the scroll. The moment my head was consumed, Mom grabbed Dad's hand and I fell unconscious.

~Classic Time, Hinata's POV~

I stood behind a tree, watching Naruto train for the Chuunin Exams. I heard rustling and looked towards the sound. Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto's team-mates, walked out of the trees.

"Come on out, Hinata." Sakura said, walking towards the tree I was hiding behind. My eyes widened, my face heated up, and my vision faded. I had passed out.

~Naruto's POV~

"Hinata?" I asked, worried. I ran over to the female, who was now unconcience. Her face was extremely red, anime-swirls in her eyes. After a moment, Sakura hit me.

"Oww...!" I exclaimed. "What was that for~ttebayo?!"

"Because I wanted to!" Sakura yelled, surprising even herself. I turned around and felt something hit my head again. I fell to the ground with a loud 'oof', as the breath was knocked out of me.

"Why'd you hit me again, Sakura-chan?" I pouted, sitting up.

"I didn't." the pink haired female said. "This scroll did. It fell out of the sky."

I rubbed my head and picked up the scroll. The sign on it said 'travel'.

"Travel?" I thought aloud. "What kind of travel~dattebayo?!"

"One way to find out." Sakura sighed, knowing that I would open the scroll to find out. I snickered and did exactly what she thought I would do. I opened the scroll.

"Baka." Sasuke muttered as the scroll pulled me in the moment I opened it.

"Naruto-kun!" some one yelled, grabbing my foot. I couldn't find out who it was because I blacked out a second later.

~Shippuden Time, Shippuden Naruto's POV~

I sighed, unhappy that I didn't get to have my ramen. I had been assigned a mission to escort a group of traveling merchants. Sakura and Hinata were also on the mission with me, but both had yet to arrive. I decided to start, but before I could leave, something, or some one, fell on me.

I shoved the person off and gave them a good look. From what I could tell, this person had blonde hair like me, but styled differently, three whiskers on each cheek. He had what seemed to be a hokage cloak on and an orange jacket with his right hand covered in bandages. His pants were black and he also had shinobi shoes. I was about to leave when his eyes opened and he shot into a sitting position.

"Boruto!" he half-yelled, half-exclaimed. He looked around frantically, then his eyes stopped on me. I noticed they were blue, exactly like mine. He gave me a goofy smile, which was also like mine.

"Sorry about that...." he started.

"Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki." I told him.

"Oh. Well, Nar- OOF!" the blonde let out right before some one else landed on him.
