"Hey Ash I'm back, you miss me?" he winked taking a seat.
"Sure..." I rolled my eyes as he put his hood back down.
"Attention Kings fans! Get ready for the kiss cam, presented by Kissin' FM radio!"
"Ha let's see the suckers who end up kissing! It's so funny when they are not together! One time this guy leaned in to a girl he knew and she slapped him right across the face then he turned to some girl and kissed her and made the other girl so jealous!" I laughed.
"Ha-ha really, that happened?" Wes smiled.
"Yeah now shh it's starting!"
The camera went over an old couple, it was so cute! Then over a few other people until the final one which shocked the socks off my feet.
"Hold up, hold up! Is that who I think it is? Mr. Wesley Stromberg from emblem3 ex- X-Factor competitor! The singer from the new Simon Cowell band! Who is that lady beside him? Any Emblems here know who she is?! They see to be on a date so... pucker up!" The host cheered as the camera swung to face us. The blood drained from my cheeks as Wes turned to face me,
"Are you okay, you're really pale?"
"Yeah, I-I'm fine just a little freaked out right now..."I muttered.
"Come on you sly dog! Kiss that cutie!" the host shouted again.
"Just count to 5 and it will all over okay?" Wes whispered in my ear. I nodded and faced him.
"KISS!" the people yelled.
Wes leaned in and kissed me deeply, my arms and legs went numb and my brain went all fuzzed. I had completely forgotten to count, I just kissed him back.
We pulled away and everyone cheered.
"I think we should go to security, before we get attacked my fans" Wes muttered.
"Yeah good idea..." we got up and hurried to security. Wes grabbed my hand and pulled me as we ran to security. Tons of girls started chasing us and instead of security we ran out of the building and to the car before we were spotted. I'm just really happy we are both runners, if we were not we would have been crowded. We jumped into the car and sped off towards my house, just as the girls came.
Wes pulled into the drive way and dropped me off at my door.
"So uh... Good night?" he muttered grabbing the back of his neck.
"Wow you are nervous" I smiled.
"Yeah well you became Casper the ghost at the arena; it's my turn to be nervous!"
"Why are you nervous?"
"Well I don't know where we stand, I don't know if I should give you a high five, a hug, or Uhhh...a kiss?"
I kissed Wes on the cheek and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Good night Wes, see you later" I smiled opening the door.
I left Wes with a giddy half smile; I closed the door and peeked out the window to see Wes fist pump the air. I laughed and walked up to my room to get ready for bed. I got changed and laid in bed with my phone; I had gotten a text from Wes.
'Hey Ash, I'm having a party on Friday You have to come, I have something for you!'
'Sure sounds like fun, is there any theme?'
'Nope come casual, well good night!'
'Good night Wes' I smiled as I tucked my phone away.
The next morning I woke up and headed downstairs,
"Good morning dad!" I sighed walking into the living room. I looked around to see my dad was gone.
"Ugh stupid work, he left at 9pm last night then to leave at 6am!" I shouted annoyed. I grabbed a glass of water and sat down on the couch to watch my favorite celebrity gossip show 'Hollywood Whisper.'
"Ouch sorry Cody Simpson looks like your song dropped to 5th this week. Next up is for you Emblems we have the latest news from the boys of Emblem3! Keaton spotted in Venice with BFF Tyler Case; Drew joins a surfing contest so guess what place he got?" I took a sip of my water, "Though the biggest news of all who is this mystery girl Wes was kissing last night at the Kings game? We have the biggest gossip here so stay tuned!"
I did a spit take and gasped, while choking on the water.
"WHAT!?" I yelled whipping the water from my chin. I grabbed my phone and called Wes,
"Ash this is not a good time, let me call you back in 10 minutes I'm just about to go in the shower, sorry I have to go!"
He hung up not letting me speak, so I kept watching.
"So Drew Chadwick place first in the 'Summer Surfer' contest, Good job Drew we are so proud of you! Now here is the biggest news of the new mystery girl Wes as kissing! Reports say it's a friend of the guys who seems really close to Wes, she is so pretty and every girl should be jealous! Like come on, she's got Wes attention, what about us?! Well there goes the spot of Mrs. Wesley Stromberg... I was a shoe in for that title! I'm just kidding! I don't know anything about her but I think Wes and her make a cute couple! What do you think? A minute later Wes muttered,
"Oh my God..."
"I know" I gulped.
