Hopelessly In Love (Hikaru and Kaoru)

Prologue

Kaoru and Hikaru were always like best of friends, even if they were brothers. Until about a year before, they were the only friends each other actually had. That was a fine arrangement for both boys but apparently unsettling to the rest of their peers. When Tamaki Suoh finally spoke to the unapproachable twins they were both baffled, but also thankful that he was actually trying. So, (after much thought) they decided to join his stupid club and a year later we were still there and both enjoying it very much so. 

"Who wants to play the which one is Hikaru game!" Both of the twin exclaimed, placing hats on their heads like they always did, just so it was a little bit harder for people to guess (even if everyone got it wrong anyways). 

The girls squealed with excitement as Hikaru and Kaoru strode towards them, big smiles plastered across both faces. "You're Hikaru!" One girl grinned, pointing toward Kaoru. 

They looked at each other and shook their heads. "Nope! You're wrong!" 

"It's just so hard," another said, "you're identical!" All of the girls laughed, as did the boys. Accidentally (of course), Hikaru's hand hit Kaoru rather forcefully causing him to fall to the ground. He groaned in pain as his hit head the floor. Hikaru rushed to the rescue, kneeling before his younger twin, holding his head up to force him look into his own eyes. 

"I am so sorry, Kaoru." He sadly smiled down at him. A blush appeared on Kaoru's face, so he tilted his head to the side to make it more apparent. 

"It's alright," He said in almost a whisper. "I forgive you." Hikaru leaned down, as if he was about to kiss his brother. 

"You always do." Hikaru smiled, brushing some hair away from Kaoru's eyes. They heard the girls squeal even louder than before. 

"Hikaru, Kaoru, come over here." Tamaki called from the other side of the room, while jumping up and down

Hikaru helped Kaoru to stand quickly, "Excuse us, ladies." They smiled at the girls before they both ran towards where the rest of the boys were standing. 

"Yeah, boss?" Hikaru said, rubbing the back of his neck. 

Kyouya began talking about some theme the host club would be enduring next week, but Kaoru got bored quickly, he also noticed his twin was too. He just wanted the day to be over really. He was pretty tired since Hikaru had kept him up all night with his kicking (which was in fact very irritating). 

When it finally did end, Kaoru and Hikaru said goodbye to everyone, but spent longer on Haruhi for some reason that was unknown to Kaoru. It was annoying how long it took for him to separate his twin from her, but he eventually did it. His twin had became a lot more attatched to that slut. Oops, maybe not slut. After all she does dress like a male most of the time. He liked Haruhi, she just got in his way sometimes. He just wanted to be home alone with his beautiful Hikaru, not for him to be flirting with someone else.

"Hikaru?" Kaoru broke the comfortable silence that was present in the twins bedroom as he climbed into he and Hikarus bed. 

"Yes?" His twin replied, taking a seat on the bed beside him. 

"I don't always forgive you, you know." He lay back, a frown curved on his lips. He hated the way that Hikaru had him wrapped around his little finger - it was almost strange - but most of all he hated how much he loved him.

Hikaru chuckled and copied Kaoru's actions placing his hands behind his head. "Believe what you want to."
