Spilling the Secret- Steven Universe x Reader

You were currently heading to the temple. Steven had invited you to come over to the temple to meet the Crystal Gems or however he called them. You felt sort of nervous, you had a small crush on Steven and you had heard that the Crystal Gems were like his moms.

You kept walking towards the temple, on your way you passed by the Big Donut and got Steven's usual. Quietly humming along the way to your favorite song, you looked up at the sky lost in thought. It was such a nice day outside, perfect for a date, a date with someone special.... A date with Steven. You shook your head blushing a dark red at the thought. You kept walking a bit more, before you realized it, you were already at the door ready to knock. Your hands started to get sweaty as you got nervous, with hands clenched in fists and the nerves of steel you thought you had a moment ago you knocked at the door softly, barely audible. Somehow someone managed to hear it and swung the door open almost knocking you down to the floor from the immense force used to open said door.

"....-kay?" Someone said. You could barely heard what the person was saying as you stood slightly wobbling. Said person pulled you inside the house and made you sit on the couch. You sat still trying to regain your composure. After a moment of silence you looked up at the person. The person had purple colored skin, white hair that was slightly spiky at some parts, and dark sparkling eyes who looked at you straight at the eyes with concern. You identified her as a female, funny, she kinda looked like the description that Steven gave you of one of the crystal gems. You smiled at her feeling a bit better and held out your hand.

"The name is (F/N), what about yours?" She smiled back and shook your hand firmly with a large grin plastered on her face. "Amethyst" she said, her eyes sparked with mischief and amusement as she looked from the top to bottom. Her smile only grew wider each second. She sat next to you while still looking at you, she muttered something to herself. You sat there feeling sort of nervous, you looked down at your hands blushing slightly.

"Soooo....You're the one that Steman said was coming over huh? No wonder he was excited" she said slightly chuckling, you blushed and looked away. "So, you like him or what?" Amethyst asked out of nowhere. Your blushed darkened as you looked at her wide eyed. "W-Why do you ask?" You slightly squeaked out. She shrugged smiling mischievously. "No reason. So, do you?" You looked away again and nodded. "Good, ya hear that Steven? She likes you~" your eyes widen once again as you look around frantically.

Steven walked down the stairs blushing a dark red. He looked at you straight in the eyes. "Is that true (F/N)?" He asked in a shaky manner. You nodded, Steven grinned and hugged you. "I like you too" you shut your eyes closed tightly sighing in relief, you had been afraid that he wouldn't like you back. You hugged back gently while burying your face into the crook of his neck. The both of you smiled and kept hugging.

In the background Amethyst grinned leaning against the wall. "Told you I would get them together!" a pale woman huffed in annoyance. "Hush it Amethyst!" Amethyst chuckled "No need to be a sore loser Pearl" said woman grumbled and walked away. The other tall figure who was standing quietly with a giant grin plastered on her face, who looked at (F/N) and Steven, finally spoke. "I ship them" Amethyst smiled and nodded in agreement. "Me too. How about w-..." She was interrupted by the tall woman with a silent No. "Aww, come on Garnet! Only once!" Garnet shook her head. "G!" Amethyst whined. Garnet sighed and dragged Amethyst away leaving Steven and (F/N) to have their alone time.
