Pokemon: California League

The Evacon HQ Part 1

"Looks like we made it back to Los Angeles!" Butch said.

"The memories my fist gym battle," Toby said.

"I remember that," Julio said.

"We were watching Batman™ videos," Rodrigo said.

"Good thing the narrator put uh... the trademark logo on the uh... word Batman™," Carlos said.

"What do you mean?" Julio asked.

"Never mind," Carlos said.

"Okay," Rodrigo said, "that was weird."

"I'm starving," Toby said, "Lets eat!"

The five headed to a nearby restaurant. They ordered food and ate lunch. They left the restaurant and started walking down the street. As they pasted an alley, the were blindfolded and put in the back of a van.

"Where are you taking us?" asked Julio.

"I hope it's Six Flags," Toby said.

"Wherever we're going," Carlos said, "I hope there is a uh... a restroom."

"I want some bacon pancakes," Rodrigo said.

"You are so random Rodrigo," Butch said.

"Manhattan!" Rodrigo yelled at the top of his lungs.

"I'll take that as a yes," Julio said.

When the van arrived at its destination, the boys were lead into a skyscraper. They removed their blindfolds and put them in a room.

"This is a nice steel door they got here," Julio said, "It be a shame if some one melted it down!"

He tried to grab a PokeBall but could fid them.

"They took our Pokemon," Butch said, "and our backpacks."

"Oh yeah," Julio replied, "I can see them on that table over there."

After about ten minutes of waiting, two men came into the room. One stood by the door and the other walked up to the boys.

"So where is it?" he asked.

"Where's what?" Toby replied.

"Are you stupid or something?"

"Very," Rodrigo answered, "And I really want some bacon pancakes right now."

"Shut up punk," he said, "Now where is the Cyndaquil from San Diego?"

"How are we suppose to know?" Julio said.

The man looked at Julio.

"Cause you were seen with it," he told Julio.

"Kiss kiss kiss," Rodrigo chanted.

The man walked over to Rodrigo. He leaned in close to his face.

"Are you the one who has it, you pathetic trainer?" he said.

Rodrigo looked at him straight in the eyes and suddenly screamed. He punched the guy in the face and knocked him out.

"He startled me," Rodrigo said.

"Why would you do that?" Julio asked.

"Yes," Rodrigo responded.

The man at the door walked towards the one on the floor. While he was distracted, Rodrigo tip toed to the door.

"Ninja skills," he said.

He opened the door and closed it slowly and quietly. He looked though the small window on the door and mouthed out the words I am a ninja.

"Wow," Julio said, "I can believe that just happened."

The door was suddenly covered in ice.

"What?" Toby said.

The man got up and looked to if anyone left the room.

"There's one of you missing," the man said, "I check on my teammate, who is probably dead, and one of you kids leaves the room. Why is the door frozen?"

The door bursts into pieces. The chunks of the door fly everywhere. The four boys duck and crawl towards the door. A chuck of frozen door hits the man in the head and also knocks him out and he lands on his partner's back.

The four grab their stuff and look at Rodrigo.

"Did you plan that out?" Julio asked.

"My favorite flavor is seven," Rodrigo said.

Rodrigo took off towards a nearby elevator.

"I should of known I would've gotten a stupid answer like that," Julio said.

"And yes I did plan that out," Rodrigo answered, "Now get in the elevator!"

The four got in the elevator and Toby pushed the button to get to the first floor.

"Its so boring in here," Rodrigo said.

"Toby barely pushed the button," Julio said.

"You deal with that everyday?" Butch whispered to Julio.

"Sadly," Julio replied.

After about five minutes, they were on the ground floor. They ran out of the elevator but were stopped by a blonde haired woman who looked like she was twenty one or twenty two.

"Where do you think your going?" she said.

She snapped her fingers and a ten people came and stood behind her.
