[Crowe]: "Sir, I think engaging the enemy is a mistake. It's shown a propensity for mind control before."
[Hawk]: "We are the will of this place. You are a threat and we need to protect ourselves."
[Crowe]: "This is a mistake sir."
[Hawk]: "We cannot take over Kiera's mind Major Crowe. We should be able to, but even from the begininning when she wasn't aware we were able to, she has repelled our attempts at entering her mind."
[Crowe]: "And why should we trust your word?"
[Hawk]: smiles "You shouldn't. We are a construct, a tool to be used and discarded as necessary. But since we also happen to have you surrounded, and you do not have enough bullets to kill all of us in time, you're both coming with me."
Camera sees the creatures all take a step forward, a visual gesture to remind Kiera and the Major that these creatures obeyed the construct Hawk's will. Kiera settled the axe over her shoulder and grabbed the Major's hand, fingers locking into his.
[Kiera]: "You're not able to touch his mind anymore, are you?"
[Hawk]: frowns, angry "Enough questions, we're gonig to the epicenter."
[Crowe]: squeezes Kiera's hand and lets go. Kiera swings the axe straight at Hawk and the Major opens fire at the creatures standing around him.
The camera zooms out to take in the full scene. Kiera's surprise attack sinks the axe into Hawk's neck and shoulder, deeply cutting. The construct's body drops to the floor and Kiera starts to hack at it with the axe. Standing a little in front of her now, the Major is firing into the creatures, spraying bullets more in an attempt to keep them off Keira than to kill them all. His rifle clicks empty and he drops it to switch to his pistol.
The creatures swarm closer, down to six but more danergous than ever. Camera hears Kiera curse as the bloody form of Hawk dissolves into the ground infront of her eyes. She whirls, trying to watch the Major's back but Hawk manages to reform behind the protective line of the creatures. The creature Hawk whistles and the other animals back away.
[Hawk]: "Resistance is futile."
[Kiera]: snorts "Someone you ate was a trekkie."
[Hawk]: "If you keep fighting us, we will have to take more extreme measures to command your obediance." voice a bland warning.
[Crowe]: fires pistol at Hawk's face, once again dropping the construct's corpse to the floor. Without speaking he grabs Kiera's hand again and runs her straight at the creatures, firing with the pistol to clear a small path through them.
Kiera and the Major dash through the barely existing path between the monsters, but as they scurry passed, Hawk reforms. The camera sees him reappear in front of Kiera and the Major, point a pistol and the loud BANG of a shot being fired point blank. The Major crumples to the floor and Kiera lets out a banshee scream, launching herself at Hawk, trying once more to chop him to pieces. One of the creatures side swipes Kiera, this time successfully knocking her over and pinning her under it's weight.
[Hawk]: walks over calmly, offering Kiera a hand up "You have no reason to fight now. Come with us."
[Kiera]: wipes tears off cheeks "Go f*** yourself."
[Hawk] sighs "This is pointless Kiera. Come with us. You'll be at peace, I promise."
[Kiera]; starts shoving the creature away from her, careless of it's warning growls. The creature snaps its jaws at her but Hawk smacks it away before it bites her. Kiera stand on her own, without assistance. "I'm gonig to make you kill me here, waste my blood where your precious epicenter can't reap the rewards." voice warning hiss
[Hawk]: "Now that would be pointless." hits Kiera with the pistol, dropping her to the floor, unconscious
Camera watches as Hawk grabs Kiera's still form and hauls her over his shoulder, walking away while whistling. Camera stays still, letting Hawk and the unconscious Kiera leave the camera view. The camera then zooms in on the Major, seeing that one of his fingers is twitching. A moment later he groans and his eyes open up again. The Major rolls to his side, coughing and clutching at his chest. He painfully climbs to his feet, slowly shuffling after the trail left by Hawk and his monsters. Fade to black.

A/N: Chapter dedication for GarySpear because he suggested I try playing with cameras to see how it feels to be on that end of things. Fingers crossed that this will help me get a stronger feel for writing script work!
