A fake smile for today and a fake smile for tomorrow
Teeth or no, it doesn't matter really
Because they both hide the sorrow
When everything's anything but easyEveryone sees but nobody can really tell
The truth behind these unchapped lips
Everything heals with time
Oh, what a useless tipTime? It's only a state of mind
And in my mind time just slows
All wounds aren't physical
But the pain never goesNothing is like a walk in the park
Especially if the flowers are wilted
Nothing can thaw this frozen heart
Because nobody's felt itThat numbing feeling of unbearable lies
That just piles upon your shoulder
Blocking yourself out and putting up walls
But the world keeps pelting bouldersIf that wall crumbles so will you
It'll be like adding fuel to the flame
The truth will become see through
But you're not to blameIt's for their saftey and protection
They can't see that you're always down
So put yourself in isolation
And embrace your happy frown.
