4• The Job

Lucy POV
As I held the three keys from Ukino I couldn't help but let a tear slip from my eyes, until two muscular arms wrapped around my waist. Natsu.
"it's ok, she wanted you to have them. Ukino just wanted her spirits to be happy." he whispered in my ear, the heat of his breath made my whole body heat up and I instantly felt better. I felt my cheeks burn and I realised I was blushing! Oh no. I quickly separated from my hug with Natsu and ran behind a tree to calm down. The thing is I always had a crush on Natsu from the first moment I saw him, I just never had the courage to tell him in fear he would reject me. The only person who new was Mira and I thought she would find our I mean she's the famous match maker. I thenheard a twig snap behind me.

Lissana POV
I saw Natsu hug Lucy and my inner fan girl was showing, Erza saw this and smirked. Then Lucy Just ran off, oh come on Lu-chan. I walked over to Natsu and saw he looked a little disappointed. I made my way to Lucy as I stood on a twig and it snapped causing Lu-chan to turn around. When she saw me she calmed down.
" look Lu-chan let's forget what happened and let's go and show those monsters what dirt tastes Like!"
"ok... GUYS LETS GO!" Lu-chan yells hurting my ears man she can yell!

Natsu POV
I felt bad for Luce so I hugged her I hope she didn't mind, but we have some buts to kick!
" I'm all fired up! Let's go"
"YEAH!" they shouted in unison.

No one's POV

As the mages set off into the forest the one thing they didn't know was the monsters were waiting. As they approached the clearing they heard a loud roar. Their heads snapped (not literally snapping!) round to see the 300 meter monster standing before them.

Gray POV
This monster was big but I'm sure we could handle it.
" right everyone split up! Natsu, Wendy, Carla and Happy you go north and do what you can. Lucy and Lissana you go West and do what you can. Gray your with me meet back here when your done, NOW MOVE OUT!" Erza roared and the others dispersed.
into the different directions
" Gray go up behind and strike with all you got NOW!" I did as I was told I ran behind it.
" Ice Make LANCE!" I shouted and it was a direct hit! I saw Erza requip into her purgatory armour and strike the monster. It fell to the ground with a loud thud. Yes we rock!

(Im skipping Natsu and Wendy's fight against the monster sorry! But yeah)

Lissana POV
"you ready Lu-chan?" I asked as the monster towered over us.
"yeah let's kick it's ass!" she said with determination.
" ok ANIMAL SOUL: BIRD!" I shouted and transformed into a bird (A/N so helpful Lissana lol) I flew up and saw Lu-chan summon Loki. As she did that I came down and attacked the monster.

Lucy POV
I saw Lis-chan transform so I did what I could " Open Gate of the Lion,Leo"I chanted as Loki appeared in a poof of smoke.
" you summoned me Lucy? " Loki asked
" yes can you help take down this monster? "
" anything for you, anything for LOVE!" I sweat dropped. But I grabbed my fleur-etoile (I think that's how you spell it but I tried) I saw Loki use his regulus impact but as I tried to use my whip it rebounded and I flew back into the rock wall behind me. It must have used a magic barrier but why? My head was aching from the impact.
I loomed around for Loki but I couldn't see him, I saw Lis-chan get grabbed by the monster I ran to the edge of the barrier and banged on it
"LISSANA! I CANT GET TO YOU THERES A BARRIER STAY STRONG I'LL GET OUT!" I screamed I was helpless I couldn't do anything! I saw Natsu and the others rush to us well to Lissana as Natsu knocked the monster down Lis-chan fell but Gray caught her, I was leaning against the barrier as it dissappeared I fell face flat on the ground
"owww" I said quietly as I lifted my head I saw Natsu standing there fury In his eyes.
" Natsu I couldn't do anything I was stuck behind this barri- " I was cut off by Natsu
"WHAT THE HELL LUCY! YOU JUST LET LISSANA GET BEATEN UP WHAT THE HELL!" he roared as a tear slipped from my eye.
"Natsu i-"
" YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CRY YOU DID NOTHING YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING YOU HIDE BEHIND SPIRITS AND SHY AWAY!" He continued to shout. I could feel the tears flowing out my eyes.
" Im sorry. I... We need to get Lissana help now can we deal with this later Please!" I said whilst sobbing
"Fine" He said coldly. I could see the others looking at us with angry expressions apart from Happy, Carla and Wendy who looked shocked.

Wendy POV
I can't believe that just happened I felt bad for Lucy-san I know what she was trying to say but Natsu was being to stupid to realise. But we need to get Lissana back as soon as possible for treatment.
" we need to get her back to the guild as soon as possible!" I said to the angry mages. Natsu turned and raced to pick up Lissana and dashed off out the forest. I jogged over to Lucy-san.
" Lucy-san let's go we need to get back" I said softly to the crying Lucy whilst hugging her.
"ok lets go, thanks Wendy" she replied
" for what?" I asked confused
" for not shouting or giving me an angry glare."
" it's ok Lucy-san I know what happened about the barrier" I spoke softly
" good thanks at least someone understands. Now let's go" she said, she stood up shakily and we both ran to the station.
