Before we leave, I realize that we still have some random person locked up in one of the questions. So I slam on the breaks, surprising Christina, bringing the vehicle to a direct hult.
"What are you doing?" Christina asks, laughing.
"That guy that we captured yesterday, I just remembered he's still locked up here. I have to ask him a few questions."
She smiles and leans towards me, kissing me on the cheek. "Go do what you have to do, I'll be waiting with Grace."
"I love you." I smile back. "Don't worry, shouldn't be too long."
I get out of the car, shutting the door behind me and running back over to Tom's cabin. I walk in, looking over at Tom. He immediately knows what the look is about, whispers something to his wife and walks over to me.
"Where." I ask, bluntly.
"He's locked up in the cabin two doors down. We've had someone sitting outside since last night, making sure he doesn't try to get out." We begin walking in the direction of the cabin. Reaching it within a few seconds, wasting no time to reach it.
"Is he conscious?" I ask the woman sitting outside the cabin.
"Yeah, he's been trying to get out of those cuffs for a little while now." The soft voiced woman replies.
"Well, you can go do whatever it is you have to do. Thank you for watching him." I say. This is the first time I've seen this woman around camp, so while I'm confused, I just thank her.
"No problem, not like there's much to do around this place anyway." She says, walking away.
I look over at Tom. "Who the hell was that?"
Tom looks at the woman, then me again. "We also got a couple of new people while you were gone."
"Well, thanks for telling me." I say, sarcastically.
"You were busy last night, thought I should've waited until this morning to tell you. Then I forgot." He says, with a big smirk on his face.
"Fuck You." I say, laughing. "Let's just get this over and done with."
Tom unlocks the door, walks in first. I walk in behind him and see the cuffed man, struggling to get out of the cuffs. He looks up and immediately stop. I finally get a clear few of him, he's no older than 16-17.
"What the hell were you trying to kill my group for kid." I ask, sitting down on the chair in front of him.
He looks up at my face, complete fear in his eyes. "I-I... just h-had to come here to tell all of you to l-leave..."
I punch him in the face. "That wasn't fucking telling us to leave, you were shooting at us and you're trying to tell me that you just came down here to tell us to fucking leave?!"
"N-no sir, I-I just.... It wasn't me that h-had the idea o-of shooting at y-y-your people, the o-other m-m-man said we couldn't go b-back if we d-didn't get you g-guys to leave...."
"What does your leader want with this place." I ask, holding back from punching him in the face again. "And speak normally, we're not going to kill you. That would be pointless."
He calms himself down before speaking. "He wants this place, because it looks safe. Electric fence, a gate that opens and closes. He thinks it's the best place to be, he made us come here to tell all of you to leave. He said if we came back and you guys hadn't left that he was to kill us and then lay waste to all of you."
"You listen to me and listen to me well. He is not going to get this place from us, the walkers will have it before he does. You... Your fate is in your hands, you can go back to them and die or you can stay here. But you even look at somebody the wrong way and I won't hesitate a fucking second to put a bullet in your brain." I say, hitting him again.
