"Ya know what would be funny?" He breaks the silence. Typical. Mmm. "What if I just moved in? I mean, I don't have anyone to stay with at my house." He declares. I sit up.
"Oh my god you just love being around people, don't you? " I say. Dan grins.
"Nah just the attention. Speaking of which, you've come out a lot haven't you?" He looks me in the eyes.
"Wha..."
"You'll actually say more then 5 words at school." He clarifies.
"Oh. Yeah. I guess you could say I was in a crumbling depression." I look down at my scrunched up legs. Now that I think about it, Dan made it worse before he made it better. Works for me. I wouldn't want to go back to that state of mind for all the money in the world.
Dan nods. "Cool. Anyway, I'll get my stuff packed for next week. This is gonna be my room too. I better be treated like a king here." He jokes. I roll my eyes and give him a small shove.
"Don't save her. She don't wanna be saved. Don't save her."
