chapter 11- More Secrets

"I really need to talk" I said taking deep breathe

"Say what's on your mind grandbaby" She said wiping the lent of her gown

"I messing up really bad , I feel my downfall coming, and I don't know what to do" I vented fiddling with my fingers

"What are you holding back Pooh" She said calling me by my child hood nickname

I sniffed shaking my head before responding "Nothing"

"What's done in the dark always comes to the light , you can't keep your dirty little secrets forever" She said looking me directly in the eyes making me feel guilty

"I'm not lying" I lied

"The truth will set you free pooh" She said standing up

"I'm sorry ,  its just not the time to tell" I said slightly above a whisper

"The longer you wait the worst it will effect everyone I know , i've been keeping a secret for 17 years but tonight it comes out" She said kissing my cheek walking to the back to take her nap im assuming

I laid back on the couch and just started to think what secrets had she kept all this time?

Why couldn't she tell me?

I started thinking about how much me and Shawn are growing apart and I hate it.

I honestly haven't spoken to him since my birthday party and I started thinking about that night

"Prove it then" Quez said looking at me lustfully

I didn't have to prove it I was leaving

"I'm leaving you" I said barely above a whisper

"So you're not in love with me like you said" He questioned walking towards me slowly

"I a-am" I stuttered

"So why you leaving ?" He questioned now directly in my face

"Because I love my brother more than you and I love myself more too I just can't  keep letting you mentally abuse me" I said very lowly

"That's to bad cause I love you more than life its self" He stated moving a strand of hair from my face

At that moment all I could think about was my father , Quez reminded me of him so much. Everyday I missed my dad and Quez was like a piece of my dad that I always yearned  for
