I just want to drown these thoughts.
Look up and see the beauty.
Open those curtains,
As I bathe in the purity of the rays,
And let them seep through my pores.
I want to open my eyes wide,
See the joy around me,
Feel the chill of the wind as it surrounds me.
I just don't want to die in envy and live this life with the innocence once bestowed on me.
Everywhere I turn
I feel the world watching every move.
Everywhere I go
I feel the hate stabbing me.
Let me dive...
Let me dive...
Towards the light!
Let me dive...
Let me dive...
Towards the light!
Go out!
Relax and know i'll be by your side.
Don't believe you're alone
We got someone watching our souls.
Don't shun them all out
Not everyone has an evil heart.
Shes just sixteen
Confused and alone,
Wishing she were me.
I'm just as lost.
Wondering around...
Wishing I were someone else.
Don't you see the problem?
We all want what we can't have.
Take my hand
And...
Let me dive...
Let me dive...
Towards the light!
Let me dive...
Let me dive...
Towards the light!
It's not in us, you see,
We're all different.
But with one cause alone.
We fight to strive through the terror of loss,
But along the way we lose hope and give in to that pain.
We want that perfect happy ending
Whether it be with someone or materialistic desires.
Something, there is something that we believe will give us that.
We don't realize that once we get it we will still obsess over something else.
Until we don't make peace with ourselves,
We shall never enjoy the beauty.
