Oh Dear, My Darling

Oh dear my darling,
You're drowning again,
Your demons tug you under,
They know you can't swim.

Oh dear my darling,
Alone with a blade,
A sea of emotions,
That crash like the waves.

Oh dear my darling,
They've left you once more,
But you're used to this now,
You've never known more than torn.

Oh dear my darling,
Your hearts made of glass,
So easily broken,
By each creature you pass.

Oh dear my darling,
The scars lining your skin,
Are not failures but battles,
You've fought from within.

Oh dear my darling,
When they look in your eyes,
They don't see past the surface,
And believe all your lies.

Oh dear my darling,
Come, I'll take your hand.
I'll stand by your side,
And I'll teach you to swim.
