Chapter 8

Amy's POV
I stood up
"I gotta see this"I said
"He isn't really going to get in the water "shadow said
" I'm sure he will if me and you do"
"Why would that make a difference?" Shadow asked
"He is really jealous" I said as I giggled a little
"You want me to make him even more jealous?" He said
"Sure why not " I said smiling. I wasn't expecting much. I took off my over up and watched shadow take off his shirt. He then walked over closer to me and smirked.
"Ready ?" He asked
"Ready for what ?" I replied
He then grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder. I started laughing and blushing as he walked me over to the water. I glanced at everyone and they were staring in disbelief. Shadow then walked in the water up to his knees. I still haven't touched the water, so I wasn't expecting it when he threw me in. I stood up in the water and moved the hair out of my face.
"Hey!" I yelled as I looked at him
"Hey~" he said smirking as he walked over to me.
I blushed a little. Why was he talking like that I thought.
"Hey " said rouge as her and knuckles walked over to us
"Hey rouge " I said
Soon everyone was in the water surrounding us. Well everyone but sonic of course.
"You coming " asked tails
"Uh yeah !" Sonic called out as he slowly walked over to us.
"About time faker " shadow said
I giggled a little, but then sonic grabbed me and pulled me closer to him.i looked up at shadow and he looked kinda annoyed.
" so Amy what were you and shadow laughing about earlier?" Sonic asked
"Oh nothing" I said as I looked at shadow who was smirking
I could feel sonic slowly moving closer to me but I tried to ignore him.
"I'm getting hungry, who brought the food?" Silver said
"I did of course !" Sonic called out
"I'll go start the grill" tails said as he left the water with cream.
Everyone got out of the water and I walked over to my towel and picked it up and threw it over me. I looked back at shadow as he dug in his bag.
"Did you bring food ?" I asked
"Yep" he said as he pulled out a mini cooler from the bag
"What did you bring?"
"Just some burgers" he replied
"Yummy " I said As I walked closer to him he then pulled out his Chaos emerald and walked over to the other grill the sonic wasn't using. I fallowed him there was no doubt in my mind now. I really loved shadow. It wasn't the same love I felt for sonic, I was so much more. Continued to watch him as he lit the grill with his chaos emerald. And he started to cook the burgers.
"SONIC NO" tails said
I look over to see the grill on fire
"I wonder how he managed to do that" shadow said
I shrugged. Blaze soon put out the fire leaving sonic with burnt burgers and burnt hotdogs.
"They still smell good"said sonic as he picked one up and put it on a bun
I looked over at shadow. He was flipping the burgers over.
"sonic I don't think that smell is coming from your burnt food" silver said as he pointed over to shadow,
"We have company" I said to shadow as everyone walked over
"What are you doing ?" Sonic snapped
"Just making burgers for whoever doesn't want burnt food" shadow said
"It smells really good shadow" cream says
Shadow then takes out the buns and starts putting together all the burgers and handing them out. Sonic was at first reluctant to take one but he soon did. Everyone then walked over to their towels and so did me and shadow
"Thanks shad" I said as I took a bite of the burger
"No problem Rose " he said
As we talked we slowly moved closer together. I wasn't on purpose it just kinda happened. He soon had his arm around me and we finished our food.
"That was really good "I said as he nodded he then looked at me with his Crimson eyes. He began leaning in towards me. My mind went wild this can't be happening is he really going to kiss me !? I leaned in as well closing my eyes but he stopped and pulled back.
"I think sonic wants you" shadow said siting up straight acting like nothing happened.

Sonics POV
"Omg guys look" rouge said as she pointed over to shadow and Amy
"What about them " I asked
"Do you see the way he is looking at her ! They are totally going to kiss!" Rouge said
" pfft whatever rouge "
"Shh look" she pointed over to them as they started to get closer
I panicked no that is supposed to be my kiss I thought.i stood up not thinking
"HEY AMES YOU WANNA GET BACK IN THE WATER !?" I yelled
"Sonic why did you do that they were about to kiss!" Rouge yelled
"What a cock block " knuckles said
Shadow shot back away from Amy and looked over at me then back at Amy.
I was the only one who has ever kissed Amy and I was not going to allow that to change. She stood up and walked over to me.
"Sorry sonic what did you say ?" She asked me
"Do you want to get back in the water?" I asked
"Yeah sure" she said with a smile she turned away from me and walked back up to shadow who was now standing. They talked for a minute then she held her arms in the air and shadow picked her up again. I became infuriated.

Amy's POV
I walked back over to shadow who was standing up looking at me.
"What did he want?" Shadow asked
"He wants to get back in the water, and I want you to come with me" I said
"Alright " he said
I raised my arms up in the air
"What are you doing ?" He said in a confused tone
"You have to carry me again" I said with a smile
He smirked and picked me up but this time he didn't throw me over his shoulder he instead help me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck
"Perfect" I said
He smirked and walked me down to the water. I held him close just to make sure he wasn't going to throw me in. But he didn't instead he held me close. I look over to see every one getting in the water. And sonic was coming over towards us.
