Chapter 1

-This is my first Shadamy story so sorry if there is any grammar/misspellings

Amy's POV
I looked around to see the whole crew but sonic,usually he would be here by now.we were all crowded around tails who had called us all over for a special meeting of sorts. It was supposed to be only the boys but I couldn't resist coming especially if we are going over to search for eggmans base and I couldn't be the only girl so I brought blaze along. Sonic finally came running through the door
"Sorry I'm late guys!" Sonic gasped
"Finally, it took you long enough!" Tails yelled
Sonic took a seat next to me and I smiled at him. Just as tails started talking I was grabbed by blaze and pulled out of my chair into the other room.
"Your not thinking of going, right Amy?" Blaze said in a worry tone
"Well ..actually I kinda wanted to go, it will be a lot of fun"I said back
"We are talking about eggman here"
"So? Come on blaze nothing bad is going to happen and we can just hang out"
"alright I'll go"
"Yay! Don't worry it's gonna be awesome."
"If you say so"
"Amy! Blaze! The you coming?" Sonic called out
Me and blaze walked out of the room to see all the boys in their battle outfits and me blaze laughed a bit but the boys didn't seem to notice.we all started walking over to the shed were tails keeps all his gadgets. Tails climbed into his plane and started it.
"Meet you guys there ?" Tails yelled
"Sure thing tails" sonic yelled back
"See you soon"knuckles yelled out
And with that we were all off. I wasn't sure where we were going I was just fallowing sonic. We ran into the woods and we kept running for what seemed like an eternity until sonic skidded to a stop.
"Well this is the place were tails said to go" sonic said looking around
"I don't see anything" knuckles yelled
Tails landed his small plane in a clearing not far from us causing some dust to rise. He then walked over to us
"It's just a little ways more, I cant bring my plane any closer without being noticed" tails said
"Oh okay" sonic said
I looked over at blaze then back at sonic. Then a black figure came running out of nowhere and ran right into sonic
"AGH" sonic yelled as he flew back into a tree
"SONIC"I screamed
The black figure stood up and glared at sonic
"get out of my way faker!!" Shadow growled
"I should have known you would be here" sonic ask as he stood up and got into his fighting position
"I'm not here to fight you stupid " shadow said as he brushed himself off
"Then why are you here !" Tails called out
"I came to disarm a bomb that's set to blow soon,now I'd advise you to stay out of my way "
Rouge flew down and waved at me and blaze but then looked over at the two arguing hedgehogs.
"That's enough boys" she said calmly
"Hm" shadow looked at her " I thought you were back at base"
"Oh I was but eggman caught on, so I would hurry before he sets it to blow sooner"
"How long do we have " I asked her
"About ten minutes "rouge said looking at me
"We better get going then!" Sonic called out
"I don't need your help,you will only slow me down" shadow growled
"Oh come on shad it will be fun! " he said with a laugh before he ran off
"Right behind you" knuckles said
Shadow and knuckles fallowed sonic and I started to fallow but rouge flew down beside me
"Hey girl long time no see"
"I've missed you rouge , were have u been?"
"Well mostly here with Shadow, eggman has been trying to do this for a while now so we have been trying to stop him"
"Oh"
"Yeah it's been crazy" rouge said with a smile "
Just then I ran right into somebody and fell down I kept my eyes closed.i was Hoping it was sonic and not shadow,he kind of scared me. I slowly opened my eyes to see shadow standing over me.he looked at me with his Crimson eyes,it was as if a fire was burning in them.
"Watch were your going,you are going to hurt yourself " he said As he turned away
"I'm so sorry shadow I-i didn't mean to " I could help but stutter
"It's fine Amy" he said still not looking at me
Rouge held out her hand and I took it and stood up
A small door opened that was hidden in a tree and eggman walked out and turned to see all of us standing there
"eggman call off the bomb there is no need for it" shadow hissed
"It's too late for that shadow" eggman yelled
"What do u mean too late ?" Sonic yelled
He crawled into a small little pod and flew off before sonic could reach him.then the countdown started 10

"Head for the tree line! " blaze yelled

Everyone started running,blaze and sonic were the first ones there fallowed by tails and knuckles

I turned to start running and I fell but my foot was caught so I couldn't move.i started to panic which got my foot even caught.

"SONIC " I called out but he didn't even look back

I closed my eyes preparing for the explosion,I saw a bright light and pressure on my body forcing me closer to the ground but I felt no pain,the noise made my ears ring but after the sound had passed I open my eyes to see shadow shielding me from the blast.
"S-shadow?.."I was in shock I never thought in a million years that he would save me
"You alright ?" He asked as his eyes meet mine once again
I nodded at a loss for words, I had never really got this close to him before
"Ames you okay !"sonic yelled as he ran over to me
Shadow stood up and held out his hand I grabbed it and he pulled me up with ease
"Yeah I'm okay...no thanks to you" I said with out even looking at him,I was so angry that he would leave me like that.
"Sorry I though you were already at the tree line..and when I saw that you weren't there it was too late."
"All that matter is that Amy's okay" rouge said
"Your right rouge" sonic said
I looked over at shadow who wasn't saying anything he glanced at rouge then me and turned to walk away
"Wait shadow ...rouge would you guys like to come to dinner with me and the group" I said
"Sure what time!" Rouge said happily
"5:00 at tails house "
"Me and shadow will be there ...right shadow " she looked over at him and he shrugged
"Yes we will be there" she said
Me and rouge hugged and blaze joined in
"I have to get going so I can start the food "tails said
"I'll go with you "knuckles said
The two headed out and me and blaze and sonic followed and shadow and rouge went the opposite way.i hope shadow shows up I thought to myself as I glanced Over my shoulder,.. However he was gone.
