•chapter four•

•Ethan's Pov•
I'm really happy that me and Serene are ok now. We are always on and off again. When we fight, it's big and we both have short tempers. (A/N I know Ethan doesn't actually have a short temper).

Grayson was also happy we were ok. Jackson is very protective of Serene. Sometimes when we get into really big fights, I've been beaten up by him. We have other friends in our group, but they live 30 minutes away from us. Two boys names Kayden, and Jake. Jake is 17 and Kayden is 16, but we don't really care.

•Serene's Pov•
The boys are picking me up today from the hospital. Jackson had to go back to college, he's only 45 minutes away. I got up from my bed, and walked over to my dresser. I was a little sore, but a few painkillers could help. I got my outfit out. I put Ethan's varsity Lacrosse sweatshirt on, and my adidas track pants, with some uggs. I was really tired, so I didn't want to really do anything today.

I sat on my bed using my phone till somebody knocked on the door.

"Serene its us, can we come in?" I heard Gray yell from the other side of the door.

"Ya sure" I yelled from my bed.

"Hey bud." They both said.

They sat down on the chairs next to me.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Umm I don't know how hard you hit your head, but this is called sitting down." Ethan said sarcastically.

"Ethan shut up I'm not a dumbass, but get up we are leaving. You guys came to pick me up not sit and chat." I snapped.

"Or we could do that, that's cool too." Ethan said in an anxious tone.

I got my stuff and walked out of the room. We checked out and walked out the door. We started walking towards a car that looked very familiar.

"Why'd you guys take my car?!" I asked.

"Ya, that was Ethan's idea. He said that it's a lot nicer than ours and he wanted to drive it because you never let us drive." Grayson nervously explained.

"Fine, just don't do it again please."  I said looking at Ethan.

They both nodded their heads and we piled into the car.  When we got to their house I said hi to their mom and went upstairs.

My mom wasn't going to be home from her buisiness trip until 10:30 at night and it was 12:35 right now. Ethan went into his room not leaving his eyes from his phone. He was on it all day, and smiling. To be honest I am not going to pick a fight with him so I'll leave him be.

•Ethan's Pov•
I met this girl in the waiting room of the hospital. She's really pretty and just moved here. I am over Jasmine to be honest, things were going badly in our relationship anyways. I've been texting this new girl Natalie all day. She's really sweet. I am taking her out tonight.

•Grayson's Pov•
Serene had been acting weirdly the whole car ride home. I know she likes Ethan and I think she understood what he was doing in his phone. It's really not my place to tell Ethan about Serene's feelings towards him. I just feel so bad that she is always there for him and he decides when he wants to use her.

"So...Gray can I ask you a question?" Serene asked looking up from her phone.

"Yeah sure what's up?" I said.

"Do you...umm...know who umm Ethan was texting?" She said nervously.

"Yeah, some girl named Natalie he met at the hospital." I replied sighing.

"Oh." She said disappointed.

"Serene I'm sorry, my brother is a douche. How about you sleep over here tonight and we can have a 'girls night' or whatever you and your friend Raya call it?" He said mimicking me.

"OMG YESSS LETS DO IT!" I said talking like a white girl.

After 6 episodes of Gossip Girl we heard Ethan's door open. I walked out to see him in a nice hoodie, khakis, and some black nikes.

"Where are you going Mr. Snazzy?" I asked drinking some of my water.

"I'm going on a date actually." He replied proudly.

"What?!" I said as I spit out my water.

"Serene...again, I don't know how hard you hi-" I interrupted him.

"I know hit my head. Ethan yes I know hat a date is. Most girls when they are surprised say 'what?' Even though they know what you already said." I explained rolling my eyes.

Ding Dong

I heard the doorbell ring. I walked downstairs and opened the door. To see the evilest, devil horned, monster ever known to man kind.

"Hi! I'm Natalie nice to meet you! Is Ethan here?"
