She's got a heavy heart

She's got a heavy heart

And she's doing all she can not to fall apart.

She cries in silence, and walks with a smile

Giving a fake laugh every once and a while.

She's got long sleeved shirts that seem to cover the pain

Scars so many it looks like rain.

And yet all the while no one has a clue

But even if they did what would they do?

She's been broken by many

A care, she doesn't give any.

She's waiting for her prince

So she can live happily ever after with a white picket fence.

When that day will come

Is only known by some.

So until then

She'll have to keep her fake grin.
