i woke up the next morning thinking about the day ahead. i sat up and stretched, then grabbed my phone and checked twitter then youtube. katie and i had to film a video for our channel today. we had just hit 5 million subscribers on our channel, katandkass. i got up and changed ( ).
i walked downstairs to see katie dancing around and singing tear in my heart in the kitchen as she made breakfast. i walked in and smiled as i at at the breakfast bar. she grinned and said, "today's the big day!!" i smiled and grabbed two plates. she turned the stove off and put some eggs from the pan onto each of our plates. i got out the glasses, silverware, and milk. katie did most of the cooking, she enjoyed it and i wasn't very good at it. i poured the milk into the glasses and she put bacon on the plates.
after breakfast, i went into katie's bedroom and set up the lights and camera. "kat! i've got the camera set up!" she ran upstairs and grabbed be her phone. i turned the camera on and started recording. "hey guys! it's katie!" "and kassey!" i wave and smile brightly. we start to play the seven second challenge and afterwards, we make an announcement. "we have a big surprise for you guys!" katie says. "so you guys enjoyed our tour last year so much," i say. "so, in july, we're going back on tour!" "we'll be joined by two special guests on the tour," said katie. "drumroll please.. we're going on tour with chris and ashton!" i clapped and we cheered. chris is one of our friends who has a channel called chrisisntreal and ashton is our friend who is a beauty guru and her channel is ashtonsbeauty. we gave the dates, starting july 15 and ending november 18. we would be going around america, then into the uk, then the rest of europe, and finally to asia.
we ended the video with our usual outro and turned our camera off. "i will edit it tomorrow." katie said. i stood up and checked the time. 10:47. i grabbed my keys. "hey kat, i'm gonna go to the store and get some milk. i'll pick up lunch on my way back." "okay," she responded. i smiled and walked out to my car. i got in, started it, and drove to the store. i bought the milk, then headed to jimmy john's to get sandwiches. i came back and we ate.
katie and i ran upstairs to get ready for the concert. i got dressed and walked to her room, where she was painting her hands and neck black. i sat on we bed watching. "since i'm painting myself like tyler, i need a josh." i rolled my eyes and walked over to her. "i'm not putting any black paint on my hands and neck." she giggled and got out some red paint and put it on my eyes. i laughed when i saw it.
we headed out and drove to the arena where the concert was being held. we parked and walked a couple of blocks there. katie was pretty much skipping the whole way. she rambled on and on about their music, the band members, and the albums.
when we finally got in, the concert started. we had great seats, first row. during the concert, i couldn't help but constantly look over at josh. after the concert, katie and i waited until the crowd died down to leave. we finally left, when kat realized she forgot her phone. we ran back in. we asked the lost and found and got nothing, so we headed to our row. thankfully, it was right where she'd left it. she grabbed it and we began to head out. i heard something behind us, so i turned around to see josh and tyler walking onstage as tyler picked up his water bottle and josh grabbed his drum sticks. they began talking and it caught kat's attention. she spun around quickly and yelled hi. tyler waved and josh looked up and smiled. she walked back to the stage and tyler jumped down. she hugged him and began talking about the concert. i smiled and nodded, but i wasn't paying much attention. i watched josh and he ran backstage, put his drumsticks down, and walked back out. he jumped down, pulling a t-shirt on. kat grinned excitedly and hugged him. i smiled at him and continued listening to them talk. josh introduced himself to me and i did so as well. we talked for a couple of minutes and he'd make a flirtatious joke or comment, making me blush hard. tyler noticed and chuckled. "have you had dinner?" tyler asked. "no, i think we're gonna order a pizza." i replied. "we've got pizza backstage if you want to eat with us." i smiled softly. "that sounds great, but we wouldn't want to be a bothe-" "of course we want to!" katie interrupted. josh chuckled and motioned for us to follow them.
