“A café latte for me and a frappuccino for Abbey Road, the most beautiful girl in this Starbucks”.
I smiled, grabbed my glass and looked around.
“Niall, there’s nobody in here apart from us two”.
“Why did you think I said that?”
I laughed and punched his arm. He smiled and sat on a chair.
“You know I was just kidding”, he said, and I laughed again. “You look pretty today”, I looked at him raising my eyebrow. “Hey, I’m being serious now!”
“Sure”.
“Don’t you believe me?”
“Let’s say I don’t”.
“Oh, c’mon, I’ve just told you you look pretty today!”
“But I’m just as normal as any other day!”
“So, very pretty”.
“You’re silly”, I said, punching his arm once again.
“Will you ever stop doing that?”
“Stop doing what?”
“Punching me, you haven’t stopped hitting me since I picked you up”.
“If you stopped making stupid compliments, I wouldn’t have to punch you”.
“Bah, you’re just giving me excuses”.
I shrugged my arms and started drinking my frappuccino. I felt his eyes all over me and looked up at him,noticing he wouldn’t stop smiling.
“What’s up?”
“Sorry?”
“Why won’t you stop looking at me?”
“I just told you, you look pretty today”.
“Are you going to say that all day?”
“Maybe”.
“Then I should be thinking of leaving”.
“Don’t you dare”.
“You can’t live without me, can you?”
“It’s not that, but I paid for the drinks, so you’re not leaving”.
“When are you taking me to The Cavern?”, I asked, changing the subject.
“Wow, I almost forgot about that. When I’m back from tour, you know”.
“The tour finishes at the end of the year”.
“I know, but I wasn’t speaking about that. We do the gigs around the UK, and then we have a couple of weeks off before heading to the European tour. We’ll go to The Cavern one day of those two weeks”.
