Author's Note:

I decided to fast forward this to the weekend. I was planning on to write Cameron's lacrosse game but I know I'm going to get writers' block for it. I might write it and make it as a "hidden chapter" or something like that.

So anyway, this chapter is the weekend.

    Enjoy!

"See I can't wake up, I'm living a nightmare

That keeps playing over again.

Locked in a room so hung up on you,

And you're cool with just being friends."

- "Why Don't You Love Me" by Hot Chelle Rae ft. Demi Lovato

"Ariana! Are you ready?" I heard mom call out from downstairs.

I poked my head out of my room door, "Almost!"

I was in a short, red mini dress with black flats. I was doing finishing touches to my make up and then, I was all set.

Mom and dad invited over my "future husband" and "future mother and father-in-laws" today because they wanted to meet me.

Carter was over at his friends' house, partying while I had to stay.

As I made my way down the spiral staircase, I heard voices in the living room.

Slowly, I walked into the living room and my eyes landed on the guests.

When I was about greet them, my eyes spotted something else.

    "Derek?!" I shouted.

There, sitting on the leather couch was Derek, in a tux.

He looked back at me with a shocked expression on his face.

    "Ari?" he said.

"Ah, you two know eachother?" a woman in a short, dark dress said, who I suppose was Derek's mother.

"Uh, yeah. I go to her school." Derek replied.

"That's great. You two know eachother. That's even better." mom said in glee.

    Yup. Really great.

"Ariana, sit sit." mom said, gesturing me to take a seat next to her.

I sat down, my eyes still glued onto Derek.

Please don't tell me he's my fiancee!

"Ariana, Derek here is going to be the man you'll be marrying." mom said.

    Oh hell no.

    "Him?" I asked.

    "Yes." she said.

"Hi, Ariana. I'm Sue Arwin, Derek's mother." Mrs. Arwin greeted me.

She chooses the time now to introduce herself?

"And I'm Jared Arwin." Mr. Arwin said as I shook his hand.

    "Um...hi." I said, awkwardly.

"How about I bring something for us to eat?" mom said, standing up.

"Would you like me to help you?" Mrs. Arwin offers, standing up also.
