Tylor Cross Jr wasn't usually the jealous type -especially not one to be jealous over some junkie.

I mean, what was there to want that Colton Charles had? Nothing. Colton had nothing in his life anyway; apart from the amount of heroine that he had snatched away in his bedroom.

Colton was Tylor's loser of a step brother, but then again Tylor wasn't a big shot himself. He was just some seventeen year old kid with anger issues and an abusive stepdad. His Mother wasn't any better -encouraging her partner to beat poor Tylor and Colton whenever they did something that was wrong in their eyes.

But apparently drug addiction wasn't an issue.

Anyways, Tylor disliked Colton since the first day they met. Tylor despised and looked down on him, whereas Colton didn't really seem to even notice Tylor's existence half of the time; couldn't be bothered with the boy.

But it was the day that Tylor first saw Colton with Hannah Grace that changed everything.

One in the right frame of mind wouldn't think that an intelligent, kind and beautiful girl like Hannah herself would flirt back with somebody like Colton.

But it happened.

Colton and Hannah were becoming really close actually -despite what others thought.

Tylor had a huge crush on Hannah, but never showed it up until then.

Tylor and Hannah were partners in Science class, and got along well enough.

But Tylor wasn't expecting this.

He had never imagined this.

Hannah could do a lot better than Colton -hell, she could do a lot better than Tylor or any guy in that God forsaken High School!

Jealousy overcoming the guy, Tylor tried to convinced his stepbrother to stop talking to Hannah but it just ended with Tylor getting a fat lip -as for Colton was more stronger and bigger than him.

But not more violent -not at that stage.
After a night's beating from his 'parents', Tylor opened Colton's door just a crack.

With a disgusted look on his face, Tylor observed fluids being injected into Colton's bloodstream.

Tylor face began to heat up in pure rage and hate.

What made somebody like Colton so bloody special?

Why was Tylor never good enough?

Why would Hannah go for somebody so pathetic as Colton?

Why didn't she ever let Tylor closer?

Colton had betrayed Tylor in many ways and on many different levels in the past, and left Tylor with many cuts and bruises.

Taking Hannah away was the last straw.

Colton didn't deserve happiness -he didn't even deserve a life.

All the anger Tylor had been bottling up over the years finally took over.

He stormed over into his parents bedroom and pulled open his Dad's bottom draw to find a hand gun.

If only Colton was a decent guy.

If only he was clean of drugs.

If only he wasn't a two faced back stabbing low life that deserved to die in a ditch and rot alone.

Tylor bursted Colton's door open and shot him four times in the chest and once in his right arm; causing the syringe to fall onto the ground.

Tylor watched blood ooze out of his stepbrother's body with delight.

A huge smile was plastered on his face as the sight of the lifeless body gave him satisfaction; knowing that he caused the body to be in this state made his finger tips tingle with excitement.

For the first time, in a very long time, Tylor was happy.

And for the first time ever, the happiness will stay within him.

Forever.
