"JaDineland seems too serene today." James sated, scribbling through his phone. Although, not long enough the attention that he open-handed to his Instagram was later on shifted to me. With his eyebrows elevated than usual, he stared at me anticipating for my response. I know he's just trying to converse like we usually do, we could talk for hours not growing tired with each other; usually, the topic would commence with something staid and escalates to the most bizarre things a few can only talk about. But there are different kinds of sushi in front of me that look so freakishly scrumptious, all of them making me drool; I'm always a big eater and everyone knows that, most essentially him, and I really tried to pay attention at my boyfriend but the sushi's luring me in.

Nevertheless, James – the good boyfriend that he is – was never akin to being mad, he's more amused that otherwise. And although I know deep down in my core that I should feel culpable about remaining fixated on the food than him, I couldn't help but thank God for bestowing me this guy in front of me. I'm not saying that he's infallible of making mistakes or he doesn't have flaws, to be completely honest he has a lot, all I'm saying is that there's more to him than his blemishes.

He disclosed a shrill laugh at me, and that did it, I am now ogling at him – delighted at the sight of the person parallel to me yet confused as to why he's laughing.

"Nothing." He said, shrugging his shoulder. I know it wasn't just nothing, because every time he laughs it's something.

"Did you even hear me earlier? Why are you so adorable when you're being glutton like this?" Albeit the genuine smile was still plastered on his lips, I couldn't help but wince at his harsh choice of word. He could've chose something engaging like food-lover, somehow glutton felt like I'm committing a crime. But he's James Reid, my straightforward James Reid. I am in some way getting the hang of his words, but there are still times like this that he makes me gasp. But I have to admit, the adorable bailed him out of it, so I shrugged my discomfort off.

"You said something earlier?" I asked, attempting to dig on my food again.

"I told you that Jadineland is unusually serene. There were still updates but just a bunch of throwbacks."

"Of course, silly, they don't know about today." I saw James shut his eyebrows up again in confusion, making the creases on his forehead palpable, while I'm feeding him a spoon full of Japanese noodles.

With his expression still perplex, he asked me; "Thought you're telling them?"

"Chill, Babe. I'll tell them tomorrow. Let's just enjoy our food. Please." I plead, prolonging the vowels in my last word, and gave him a pout. I'm expecting him to drop it off but he pestered even more.

"But.." he started, however I cut him off.

"I'll tell them tomorrow so that we can enjoy this day without worrying about anything. You know naman our fans. They would assume and want to know where we are and they're really good at it. I want to enjoy this moment with just the two of us."  We're putting extra precautions even just by going here. We arrived at different time, we took different cars, he was ahead of me for about 30 minutes, with his hoody over his head and surgical mask covering half of his face. We're wearing a mischievous disguise like we were some accomplice. And I think our crime is not letting media people know about our relationship, if that's even considered a crime. Our jacket still match though, even before we were still unofficial our clothes are always His and Hers.

"SOCO, that's what they call themselves, right?" He beamed; pleased at the thought of our fans having amazing detective skills. I just nodded at him to answer his question.
