My lost shadow (Sequel to "Nowhere's safe")

Chapter 1: Life so far

Kylie's POV

Ever since Elizabeth was defeated, my life returned back to it's happy relaxing pace. No longer did I had to worry about a shadow behind me, following me everywhere. I was finally free.

In the days that followed, after Elizabeth's death, Nina and me spend every minute together. And our parents didn't mind, they knew everything now too. Taylor took it upon herself to inform them and explained them everything.

Nina and me had the best, romantic relationship ever. We were so close, literally. She helped me get used to the dark again, since Elizabeth ruined that for me. I was really scarred for life... But Nina promised to help me.

We also finished high school pretty easy. We had a lot of fun, the three of us. We went to the same college, got a dorm together and had the best life you could imagine. But somewhere deep down, I always felt a certain feeling. A feeling I couldn't describe, it made me feel uneasy but I didn't know what it was so I usually just shrug it of and continued with my life.

Anyway, it's also in college that Taylor found her girlfriend, Jade. She met Jade when Nina and me were out together. She was just walking around campus when she accidentally bumped into Jade. They were both so shocked from that that they used they're magic against each other.

Yes, you heard me, both their magic. Jade was a witch too! They were lucky though, if a normal person would've seen that, they'd get so many questions...

Anyway, Jade and Taylor bonded over their magic. They quickly found out that they were both good witches, which was a very important thing. No bad witches near us anymore!

They started to hang out more, spending more time together. Eventually when Jade moved in with Taylor, we knew enough... They were best friends!

It's only when they both asked to meet us at a restaurant that they told us they were dating. Both Nina and me were so happy for Taylor and Jade, they fit well together. They're a cute couple.

As years went by, we graduated and started our lives. Nina and me bought a house, and so did Taylor and Jade. We got married and so did they. We started working, and so did they. But they had amazing jobs, well Taylor had. She was protector of the humans. How cool is that? Why did she even went to college in the first place?

Anyway, when Nina and me were working for a year or so, she surprised me with the question: "Baby, are we going to have a child?"

I didn't had to think twice about that. And so we quickly got some treatment done and now we have our beautiful baby girl, Bailey Young-Anderson. Nina insisted on Bailey having both our last names... Poor girl, such a long name.

Taylor and Jade followed us and got a child too. They got a beautiful baby boy, TJ. They called him TJ because it's the first letter of their names. It's cute. He was also a good witch so they were thrilled to teach their little boy everything they knew.

When we got together afterwards, we all laughed and joked about TJ and Bailey getting together later. Hey, it's possible right? It'd be so cute if they'd got together and marry.

Yes, everything went well. Until one day, I got to work. I work as a teacher, and once the new year started, I met this girl... There was something about her. Something I really didn't like. She had the same vibe as... Elizabeth...

And to make things worse... She had the same last name...

Hey everyone, and welcome in this new story. Well the sequel of Nowhere's safe. 

As you can see, this chapter is a small one, but it's a short introduction what life is so far for them. Next chapters will be the normal length. I'll post this book every Monday and Friday as a replacement of "You're mine". I hope you'll enjoy this one :)
