Chapter 7~Condition

Wednesday.

Man, I hate Wednesdays.

I was sitting in the Slytherin Common Room at 3:30 am, until I decided to take a walk. I couldn't sleep these days. I needed to clear my mind so, I went where I always went. As I walked to Black Lake, I noticed something sitting by the lake. Worriedly, I pulled out my out my wand and had it pointed, at the ready. When I approached it I heard crying. This person was sitting down, crying.

"Draco." I eased. I knew that voice anywhere.

I put my wand away and sat down next to her. "What's wrong, Crystal?" She sniffed and looked down at the water.

"Nothing."

"Liar." I smirked.

I put my arm around her for comfort, as she leaned her head down on my shoulder.

"Draco, I'm fine."

"No. Why won't you tell me what's wrong?"

She sighed. "You know when you can't say things because they're too personal?" She asked. I nodded. I knew exactly what she meant.

"It's okay. You don't have to tell me."

We sat in silence for a while. "What are you thinking about?" Crystal asked.

"I sighed. "Things. Us." Crystal just nodded.

"Why are you so jumpy these days?" Her question threw me off guard.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, You always have your wand out when someone spooked you." She paused. "Are you hiding something from me?" I shook my head. I can't tell her I'm a Deatheater. She would hate me, like Katy.

~Flashback~

"Katy, You won't hate me?" I asked the most beautifulest girl in the world.

"I could never hate you, Draco." She looked up at me. "Why?"

"I wanted the right time to tell you, but." I stiffened. "You would hate me."

She turned so that we were facing each other. "Tell Me."

"I'm a Deatheater." I sighed.

"Awesome!" Katy exclaimed. I smiled at how she understood me so well.

I kissed her then with intensity.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Draco Maldoy, I hate you!" Katy yelled.
I only looked down at my shoes as she was ready to meet her fate.
"I love you!" Katy suddenly yelled.
"I love you too." I muttered.
Suddenly Voldemort lifted his wand.
"No!"
~Flashback End~
From that day on, I promised I wouldn't fall for anyone. Now Crystal had to come along. 'I can't let her get hurt.' I thought.
"Crystal, Can I tell you something?" Crystal nodded.
I opened my mouth to talk, until my arm started burning.
"I have to go."
I quickly got up and ran to the Prefects Bathroom. I could hear Crystal's voice trail behind me. When I walked through the door, I was immediately apparted to Malfoy Manor.
"Ah. Hello Draco."I kneeled down on one knee, looking down.
"My lord." I looked up. "You needed me?"
"Stand up." He commanded. I stood up without hesitation.
"How is your task going?"
"Perfect."
"Really? No Distractions? Like last time?" I winced.
I shook my head. "No."
Suddenly I felt him enter my mind, so I put my shield up.
"Your hiding something." I froze.
Voldemort walked over to my me. "Tell me." He hissed.
"There is nothing to tell, my lord." I said nervously.
"Lies!" He screamed. "Crucio!"
I fell to the floor, pain shooting through my body. I tried not to scream. 'Don't show him pain. Don't show him pain.' I thought to myself. Suddenly the pain stopped.
"Go now." Voldemort waved his hand and walked away.
Then I was transported back to the Prefect bathroom. I laid on the floor, breathing hard.
"Where have you been?" I immediately stood up and faced the voice. Crystal was leaning against a bathroom stall door, arms crossed.
"How did you know where I went?" I asked.
She just rolled her eyes. "Your not a very fast runner." I could hear the venom in her voice and could see the demon in her eyes.
I never saw this side of her, but personally, It scared me.
"Oh." Was all I could say.
"So." She paused. "Where did you go?"
"I can't tell you. It's personal." I looked at her.
 The demon in her eyes left and was replaced with a soft angel.
"Im sorry." She pulled me into a hug, as I I happily hugged her back.
"I shouldn't have asked."
I nodded as she pulled away.
"Sooner or later you going to have to tell me." She stated.
"I know."
"I'll see you in class."
With that, she left. Not even sparing one kiss.
What have I gotten myself into?
