Sam's pov
I wake up yawning. And I notice Zayton gone.

I then hear coughing in the bathroom. I walk in to see Zayton leaning over a trash can coughing up blood.

I can tell his wounds were healing thankfully. "Im fine, go make breakfast before they hurt you again" he says not looking up.

"Ok" I say quietly. So I walk downstairs and start breakfast.

When I'm done I grab a smores poptart and head back upstairs after I serve the French toast.

When I'm in our room Zaytons gone so he must be at work. Its Martin Luther king Jr day so we don't have school.

I just eat my poptart and then turn on the tv and see the vampire diaries is on.

Woohoo I say mentally. 'I'm sad' says Kiera.

'Why?' I ask.

'Because mate is hurt' she replies.

'I know he is, why are you sad now?' I ask.

'No he did something wrong and is now getting the crap beat out of him' she says really fast.

I then get up and when I do I hear screaming. "Oh no" I whisper.

I start running towards the sound. When I turn the corner I see Zayton getting beat worse than I ever have.

"You were useless from the start I just kept you to do my work but now I have to get rid of you" sneers alpha.

He keeps hitting and hitting until I hear no heartbeat.

My world just crashed around me. "No he can't" I whisper.

I see alpha walking away so I run up to Zayton.

Zaytons pov

I was putting up papers when I accidentally knock over a mug. "Oh craps" I mutter while waiting for the alpha.

I didn't have to wait long. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO" yells alpha but I stand strong.
"I was putting up papers and I accidentally knocked over that mug" I reply.

"You will pay" he snarls. He then pushed me out of his office and starts beating me.

I then smell my mate. No she can't watch this says my wolf.

But im too tired to think. I keep getting beat and beat until I feel my heart stop.

No!! I scream in my head. To late my eyes close and my body shudders.

Then I wake up thinking its a dream but I notice im on a boat on the ocean.

I then see someone with so much power I bow my head.

"Raise your head child" states the mystery person.

So I raise my head. "My title is the moon goddess." she says.

I just stand there. "Am I dead" I ask.

"Yes" she says sadly.

"But why so soon?" I ask.

"Oh you aren't going yet." She replies.

"Ok, one question why are we on a boat?" I ask.

"My vacation" she says.

"Oh" I say.

"Anywho we're getting off topic, I'm here and your here to see me and me you. You are dead yes but it isn't your time so I'm here to revive you. Only if you want" she says.

I think . "And the pain will be searing so I'm warning you" she says. I give a deep sigh.

"Do it" I say.

"Are you sure?" She asks unsure.

"I said do it!" I yell. She just nods her head in understanding.

She then starts chanting words that I didn't understand but then I felt sudden pain that just kept getting worse by the second.

Then it was gone. And I open my eyes.

Sam's pov

I pick up Zayton and shift and with him on my back and I run into the forest not planning on going back.

I think of the one thing the alpha let me have, my innocence.

I cross the territory line into neutral land.

I then lay him down in a bed of flowers. My wolf whines I'm slowly dying on the inside.

I go and hunt and I then shift and start a fire and cook the venison.

When I'm done eating I go over and sit on the ground and fall asleep.

I wake up to moving. I look over and my eyes widen I see Zayton thrashing around then he stops and his eyes open.

A/N haha cliffhanger dont worry I'll update fairly soon and I hope this was interesting I know a lot of people do comas well im into people dying or close to death then being saved so yea. So have a good day/night
