"Hey Tiny, ya mind leaving me and Chris alone for a second?" Pixie asked, Minny looked puzzled but left. Chris shifted uncertainly, "You know my mom is goddess of crossroads, at crossroads you have to make a choice, so she's kinda like the goddess of decisions." Pixie said without taking her eyes from the still screen, Chris scratched the back of his head, "I guess." he agreed, "Guess that's why I became this, why I'm so good at this." Pixie said. "Good at what?" Chris asked, "Good at knowing when someone needs help choosing, when they can't decide, when they're undecided. I became councilor so I could help campers down the path towards their parents, so I could help them find who their parent is. Even when they're in another cabin they still ask me for help, help to guid them down the crossroad. And you need help." Pixie stated, Chris sighed, "I don't know what to do with my future, I don't have any plans." he admitted and Pixie's eyes settled to green as she looked at him. "Hey, did you know my family is a bunch of circus freaks? Palm readers, contortionists, magicians, stuff like that. My Nana taught me how to read palms, said she'd teach me to use cards, but a sayter to me to camp before she got the chance." Pixie said, eye's now turquoise, "Why do your eyes change colors?" Chris asked, Pixie shrugged, "Maybe 'cause magic is so strong in my veins. Now hold out your hand." Pixie requested.
Pixie seemed to be drinking in every detail of Chris's palm, he was certain that she could draw it perfectly from memory now, down to every line. Pixie made a homing noise, "You are very intelligent, feeling betrayed, doubting yourself, a good brother and friend, and a natural leader who hates being the center of attention." she finally concluded, "Any advice for the future?" he asked, "You keep holding yourself back, you should talk to the ones you worry over and not worry in silence. Don't worry about doing the 'wrong' thing or the 'right' thing, you being happy won't make others not, in fact they'll be happier once they see your joy. You're lost and looking for a connection, I predict soon you will find someone even more lost and find your ways from learning from each other. You will find the connection you seek if you just try." Pixie advised, then mumbled something about putting her money on the brunet. "Pixie?" Chris started, the entire time her eyes had been quickly swirling from green to misty grey and were now staring at the floor, "Sorry, you must think I'm a freak." she mumbled, "Are you kidding, that was awesome!" he responded, "I think I know what you meant, I'm gonna go do what I should've done earlier! Bye!" he called as he exited the cabin, as he closed the door he could've swore he heard her mumble 'thank you' and that her money was still on the brunet.
