Demon Child

I'm a demon in a human's body,

I'm the worst living thing on this planet,

I killed my mom,

I killed her,

I killed her when her when I never knew her,

I killed her when I wasn't even a second old,

My dad never talks to me,

My sister hates me,

She yells at me,

Blames everything on me,

She says it's all my fault,

She's been telling me that since birth,

At first I didn't believe her,

But she never stopped until I believed,

I was good until I believed,

I didn't believe until it was true,

I'm always in trouble,

I have no friends,

Just followers that think I'm cool,

I don't know what's cool about being a demon,

But they do whatever I say without a second thought,

It won't stop,

No matter what I do,

I'm still a demon,

A demon who killed his own mother,

Then she appeared,

She was an angel,

She cared about everything and everyone,

Including me,

And no matter what I did,

She still protected me,

And when she found out I killed my mom,

She still cared,

She said it wasn't my fault,

She said my mom had me because she loved me,

I've never been loved,

I didn't know what it felt like,

I didn't know how someone could love the demon who killed them,

But she tried to help my family even though I told her it was none of her business,

She made my sister and dad listen to why my mom had me,

How my mom would be unhappy to see how they reacted to her sacrifice,

And that even she would be bad if she was treated the way I was treated,

Even her,

And then when I got home,

To my surprise,

She was crying,

My sister was shedding tears,

And even my dad had rain on his cheeks,

She loved me,

My sister loved me,

He loved me,

They all did,

They were all sorry I went through that,

Not just her,

They all did,

Their emotions were the same now,

They promised it wouldn't ever change even after either of us died,

I now knew how it felt to be loved,

For once in my life I was happy,

It was well worth the wait
