"Where you want this"

"On a fork and into my mouth , I'm hungry as fuck"

I tried hard not to crack a smile

"Why'd you bring this where anyway"
She asked, her mouth full

"My mom made me "

"Oh well tell her I said thank you, you can go now, wouldn't want to force you to stay with someone you hate "

"I don't hate you .... I just don't particularly like you"

"Oh yeah, that makes me feel a whole lot better" she said sarcastically

"Yo what's with the attitude" I asked

"I'm sorry, I'm just pissed off"

"I see that, you chomping the fuck out of that cake "

She laughed " I told you I was hangry"

"Why are you mad "

She took another bite of cake

"... Why do you care?"

"I don't " that's a lie

She looked at me then back down at her plate

"I'm just curious "

"Well, don't get mad okay"

Not this shit again...

"What?" I asked

"Well... I heard David and Danielle talking today, something about she can't hold it in any longer and that David needs to do something now"

"What the fuck " I was mad and started to get anxious .. What the hell could they be talkin about  "well what did David say "

"He wouldn't tell me what was going on so I left his ass"

"Left as in broke up?"

"Well... Yes and No "

"Damn no wonder you in a bad mood"

"Yeah "

"Well Imma see what's up and I'll let you know"

"That means we cool?"

"No, not at all "

Dani POV

I was praying that Asia didn't go and try to tell Rodney what she overheard

But I'm also praying she did tell him..

I'm tired of doing this shit , I'm tired of being a Con.

Dani: I'm telling him, don't try and stop me

David: please just give me another week

Dani: no, I can't do this

David: they'll kill you if they find out

Dani: I don't care , I ain't doing this anymore ... I don't want to hurt him

I called Rodney

"I was just about to call you" he answered

"She told you didn't she"

"Yeah"

"Look meet me at the restaurant in 5 minutes aight"

"Aight"

I walked to his Moms restaurant

"This is it Dani " I said to myself then sat at a table and waited

A few minutes later  Rodney came inside and sat across from me

"So wassup"

"I haven't told you everything Rodney"

"What do you mean?"

"I ...I"

"You what"

"I just didn't happen to be at the same party you were , and I didn't just so happen to move here "

"What you mean?"

"My dad works for your dad.... I'm supposed to be making you fall in love with me , to make you vulnerable"

He stared at me confused

"My dad is Big Shawn, after your dad got locked up he called my dad and told him to kill Asia and you.. David is actually my cousin .. And he's in on it to that's why he was being so nice to you . But I swear he's changed , his friendship is actually genuine .. And I love you Rodney and I know this is a lot to take in but I'm so so so sorry... I had no choice"

He looked out the window teary eyed

"I'm sorry" my voice cracked and I touched his hand

He snatched it away and walked out
