"Wand at the ready, Harry." Dumbledore said taking his wand out as well.

They were now on what seemed to be a deserted block of houses. Not a living soul was in site. None except for a red haired man looking a bit grim as he kept a steady eye of one particular house.

"Mr. Weasely." Harry smiled.

"Hello, Harry." the red headed man smiled though they were in one of the grimmest of places.

"Any movement?" Dumbledore asked.

"No, none what-so-ever." Mr. Weasely reported to Dumbledore all signs of cheer quickly vanishing.

Dumbledore continued to stare at the house. His gaze darkening every moment.

"You don't think we are.... too late, do you?" Mr. Weasely asked with unease.

"No. No, it's far too clean for them." Dumbledore assured

"Sir, I wonder if you might tell me... what exactly are we doing here?" Harry asked Dumbledore.

"All will be explained in due time, Harry."

And with that Harry let it be. He knew by the expression on Dumbledore's face he was concentrating... thinking... of a plan... but a plan for what is exactly the thought that troubled Harry when they heard a shrill scream.

"Thank you for your service, Mr. Weasely. Mr. Potter and I can take it from here." Dumbledore said quickly ushering Mr. Weasely off.

Mr. Weasely looked as though he wanted to hesitate, but knew better than to question the orders of Albus Dumbledore.

Dumbledore and Harry ran to the back of the house creeping in quietly.

"Where. Is. The girl." A cold voice spat.

He was dressed in black with a horrid mask covering his long face. He held a jagged wand just above a woman with brunette hair and a man with black hair who was cradling the woman.

"What are you talking about?" the black hair man said through gritted teeth.

"YOUR DAUGHTER!" A woman with messy black hair appeared with a wild look in her eye.

"You're late, Bellatrix." the cold man said in a exasperated tone.

Harry stepped forward at the appearance of his godfather's murder with uncontrollable urge to take revenge. Luckily Dumbledore held him back.

"You think I WANTED to miss out on all the fun?" Bellatrix said taking out her wand. "The Dark Lord held me back. He warned... we might have visitors so we must finish this quickly."

"As the Dark Lord wishes." the cold man nodded solemnly. "Crucio"

The woman cringed and shutter in pain. Her groans turning to screams as the pain intensified.

"Stop it! STOP!" the black haired man said lunging for the cold man casting the curse.

"Avada Kedavra!" Bellatrix pointed her wand and the black haired man fell lifelessly to the ground with a terrible thud.

"Will" The woman under the Crucio curse managed to let escape in a gasp of breath as tears streamed even more harshly down her face for her new at the empty look in her eyes that her best friend was dead.

"Care to share where she is now?" the cold man asked lifting the curse.

The woman picked herself up slightly backing away.

"Never."

"Than you shall share the same fate as him!" Bellatrix shouted. "Crucio."

"I thought you said the Dark Lord wanted this to go quickly?" the cold man asked

All Bellatrix did was laugh and the cold man joined in. Both were laughing as the brunette hair woman withered in pain.

Before anyone could react Bellatrix was knocked to the floor her wand flying out of her hand.

"The girl." the cold man hissed and grabbed a young looking girl with silver hair off the ground. "Let's go."

The girl wasn't going without a fight. She hit the cold man in the face with the back of her head and elbowed him in the gut and ripping out of his grip. You could hear the rip of hair from her head, but she barely winced as she rushed to her mother.

"Mum." She said turning the brunette woman over.

She was barely holding on. Her eyes were closed and her body not moving. The only indication of life was the faint rise and fall of her chest.

"Stupid girl. Crucio!" the cold man cursed.

The silver haired girl shuddered in pain. She stiffly forced herself up taking hold of the closet door knob behind her to help her to her feet.

"Very strong. Just as the Dark Lord said she'd be." Bellatrix smiled nastily beside the cold man.

"Put your wand away, Lucius." Dumbledore said stepping out finally.

"And Just as the Dark Lord said. We have company." Lucius smiled as if enjoying the challenge.
