I was shaking and a complete mess.

It was Monday the 4th of January 2016 and when the clock struck 5 PM everything would change. I had scheduled my first ever YouTube video, a blog post announcing it, as well as a tweet and an Instagram post. All my social medias would be blowing up, it was surreal to think that only a year ago the only social media I had was my blog and Snapchat. Now, I loved Instagram to post the occasional beautiful photo that didn't fit with my blog posts and I loved Twitter for responding to my readers or communicate with my friends.

I was actually also considering making my Snapchat public, quite a few people had already correctly assumed it was mine because my username was just AbigailClover but I had never confirmed it to anyone.

I was sat on our bed slowly watching the clock ticking down to the dreaded 5 PM. I was alone as Nate was in a meeting he couldn't miss and I purposely hadn't told anyone other than him. I wanted it to be a surprise to everyone, even my sister. I knew Emma would be so pissed when she found out that I hadn't told her beforehand but I had wanted privacy to work on my videos.

I had planned five to go up, five days in a row.

The first one was just a very short introduction video. It was inspired by Troye Sivan's first vlog that I had just found so adorable when I had gone back and binge watched his old videos at one point. It was quick, sweet and straight to the point and I hoped I wouldn't turn into one of the YouTubers that would be embarrassed by their first video.

The next day I would have the compilation of all of my tree photos. I had filmed a quick voice-over explaining the project as I actually intended to turn that video over as one of my exam project for the arts course I was finishing.

On the third day, I would show and talk about all of my cameras. It was one of the most frequently asked questions on my blog and now embarking on a YouTube journey I had picked up another new camera. I would talk about my iPhone's camera, the small photography camera I used when I first got serious about my blog, my big high-tech camera I invested in a couple of years into blogging and of course both of the cameras from Nate's camera range. I had been using my Vloggie for photos occasionally but now I had also invested in the big one to film my videos. JacksGap had inspired me in how I had filmed this video, specifically how they lay on things on a table moving them around and throwing in small pieces of paper that crumbles.

On the fourth day, I would have my second proper sit down video. It was by far the longest of the videos as I was chatting in depth about my blog and the story behind it as well as briefly touching on the topic of how I felt knowing people saw my content and appreciated it. I suddenly understood why Nate really tried not to film for too long. That one had been a beast to edit because I had almost an hour of footage.

The fifth video was about how to capture the perfect sunset photo. It was an extremely difficult task and over time and so many attempts, I had picked up a few tricks I wanted to share. This filming style was inspired by Connor's more "artsy" videos when he was out and about. Again I had decided to go with a voice-over, as I still felt a bit self-conscious just sitting in front of a camera talking. I would probably get better at it.

It was less than five minutes until all the scheduled posts would go live. I jumped up from the bed, unable to sit still anymore. Maybe, I should have told my friends and family beforehand. Surely, they'd be so confused.

I had only finished up the last details this morning but now I just wanted people to see it. I was so proud of every single video but this was nerve wracking, even if it was only the first of five to go live.

"Abbs?"

I felt very confused by the sudden call of my nme but I ran towards Nate's voice. He was supposed to in an important meeting. What the hell was he doing home?
