"This one" she smiled brightly showing us a fuchsia pink diamond with tiny white pearls around it. Hate it. Jay turned to me for help

"Nope" I answered. She frowned and took out another case of rings we said no to. I thought they ran out of rings by then so I looked around. My eye caught a beautiful ring. I hailed Jay and the lady over here.

"Can we see that one?" Jay asked, with a tiny smile creeping up on his face.

"This one is expensive" she warned us. Jay nodded. She took it out and handled it carefully. It was a light pink diamond in the middle with shiny, small crystals around it. That's the one

"I think this is the one" Jay smiled widely. I think I had a Cheshire Cat smile plastered on my face. The lady smiled in relief

"It's $10,000" she smiled. Well then... Jay's eyes widened. He searched his pockets for his wallet. Don't tell me he lost it. He smiled once he found it and got it out. He pulled out his credit card and handed it over to her. She swiped it then handed it back to Jay. She placed the ring delicately inside the velvet red box. She handed it to Jay.

"Thank you and have a nice day" she smiled

"You too" we said in unison. Jay sighed in relief once we got back in the car. My stomach was growling by now

"Jay pull over at Starbucks and get me a mocha cookie crumble and a muffin" I told him.

"Get it yourself" he smirked

"I just skipped breakfast to help you pick and engagement ring. You go get it" I grumbled. He pulled over

"Fine" he huffed, he got out and went inside Starbucks to get me my drink and muffin. I got a text form Nathan so I checked it

*from mysexyslothboyfriendwhoilove: where are you?! I'm cold and I have no one to keep me warm :( x*

*to mysexyslothboyfriendwhoilove: I'll be home in a couple. Hug my pillow and pretend its me :) x*

*from mysexyslothboyfriendwhoilove: oh yeah. I forgot that my girlfriend is made out of feathers and has no heart... -.-*

*to mysexyslothboyfriendwhoilove: PRETEND BOY! PRETEND! See you soon*

I put my phone away as Jay came back holding the paper bag with the Starbucks logo. He entered the car and took out his drink then mine. He then passed me a bag. I looked inside and it was a lemon iced pound cake.

"I asked for a muffin" I glared at Jay.

"Too bad" he rolled his eyes, taking a sip of his hot coffee. He started the car and drove back to my flat. I finished my pound cake by then, I had a bit left of my mocha cookie crumble

"Bye bird, it'd be a real shame if she said no" I smirked and got out of the car quickly and shut the door leaving Jay, wide eyed. I chuckled and walked inside the building. I took the elevator and reached my floor. I got my key out and unlocked my flat and went inside

"In here!" Nathan shouted from our bedroom. I threw away my empty container of Starbucks and rushed to our bedroom. Nathan was clutching my pillow tightly. I took off my shoes and jumped in bed with him.

"It's so cold" I shivered. He nodded and put my pillow back and hugged me instead.

"Can we have a lazy day?" He asked in my ear

"I have those every day" I chuckled. He laughed quietly and nuzzled his face in the crook of my neck.

"Where did you go?" He asked, his face still in my neck.

"Jay asked me to help him with something" I mumbled, closing my eyes

"Which is?" He questioned
