"That won't do anything Prongs! Try this.." There was a pause before someone shouted: "Aguamenti!" When the water hit me I opened my eyes and sat up straight.
"Dammit Sirius!" I shouted, locking my eyes with him. He smirked at me. "You are so dead. I hope you know that." I hissed. He just laughed.
"Are you alright dear?" Lily asked. I nodded my head.
"Yea, but what happened? All I remember is we were talking about Arabella and then.." I let out a groan. "And then you told me she's in love." Lily and Tonks nodded. Remus, who was sitting next to his wife looked off into the distance casually. Too casually.. "Spit it out Moony, I know you are hiding something." I growled. Every head snapped in his direction.
His face was alarmed and he was obviously trying to hide it. He took a deep breath and smiled. "Oh it's nothing." He said, his voice becoming high-pitched. I raised and eyebrow. "Now Maddie, let's be reasonable.." He replied quickly, raising his hands in defense.
"Tell me what you know." I snarled, getting up on my feet. He too stood up and edged towards the door. "Colloportus." I whispered, locking the door. He whipped out his wand but I was faster. "Expelliarmus." I said quickly, catching his wand.
"Maddie, I think you are being a bit extreme.." Sirius said quietly. I snapped my head in his direction and that shut him up.
"I'll give you one more time to spill Lupin." I said as I walked closer. He looked completely mortified. Right before I reached him he spilled.
"It's Malfoy's kid!" He shouted. Everything inside of me tensed up. I was filled with.. fear?
"W-What?" I stuttered, dropping his wand.
"Your daughter," He said breathlessly. "Your daughter is in love with Draco Malfoy's kid." He finished. I was utterly speechless. Of all the people, it had to be Malfoy! Anger surged through me and the next thing I did took everybody by surprise. I raised my right fist and as hard as I could, I punched the wall, creating a large hole.
"GOD DAMMIT!" I shouted. My hand throbbed with pain but I held back the tears. I lifted my wand, repaired the wall and retreated into the back room without another word.
I sat there for hours, thinking about everything. I hated Malfoy with every fiber of my being, but who was I to tell my daughter that she can't love? Well I can't tell her anything anyways because I'm dead.. but that was besides the point. Love is something that I can't even control, so maybe it was destiny..
After a couple of minutes of silence, I realized something.. The Dial! The Dial was a magical object that the Potter's owned. It was here somewhere in the house. It allows you to see what people are doing down on earth, you just needed to put the dial on the person you wanted to see and then you could watch them. In a way it was like a pensieve.
"Accio Dial!" I whispered urgently. Something large hit me in the back of the head and on the ground was the dial. There was a couple of names on the dial like Sirius Black, Fred Weasley, Harry Potter, Madeline Potter, and Remus Lupin. I engraved another name into the circular dial. Arabella Weasley. The basin above the dial swirled for a moment before I could clearly see my red-headed daughter.
"Elliot! Elliot, where are you!" She shouted. She was in a large field of wheat, looking around. Behind her a boy wrapped his arms around her waist. "Elliot! You gave me a heart attack! Don't ever do that again!" She laughed. Elliot smiled at her.
"Fine! But come on now! Your dad was yelling for us earlier, we better head back." He grabbed her hand in his and they ran to a large house. From behind her hair I could see her turning pink, like a true Weasley.
"There you two are!" A new voice said, sounding quite relieved. My heart fluttered when I saw that it was my husband, Fred Weasley. "Dinner's ready you two. Elliot, your parents and brother are in the sitting room, if you'd grab them please and lead them to the table." He smiled. Elliot nodded in return and dragged Arabella with him.
"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy! It's lovely to see you again!" Arabella said politly. Draco and his wife laughed.
"No need to call us Mr. and Mrs. anymore Bella!" Draco chuckled. "Call us Draco and Astoria, you've shown us how mature and respectful you are." He smiled. Arabella turned pink again and smiled.
"Come on now, dinner's ready!" Elliot said. Arabella giggled and lead him to the dinner table. Everyone sat around the table and began eating happily. Arabella turned pink once again and I realized that Elliot was holding her hand under the table.
"Thank you again Fred, for inviting us over." Draco said to Fred. I was completely taken by surprise when he grinned in return.
"No problem! You and your family are welcome here anytime!" He said before stuffing his mouth with more food. I guess they got over their tense history's.. Arabella looked .. so in love when she looked into Elliot's eyes. He looked right back at her with the same expression. They were truly in love though they didn't know it yet, after all, they were only thirteen or fourteen! They were going to be Third Years for peat's sake! But Fred and Draco seemed to nod at each other as they looked upon their children.
I exited the dial with a smile on my face. True love can happen to anyone I guess, even with people you might not even think of. I shrunk the dial to fit in my pocket and gently placed it there. I took a deep breath and walked out of the room.
All eyes fell on me as I entered the room. Mrs. Weasley scanned my face to look for any emotions. I smiled at them all. "They are so cute together!" I squealed before latching myself onto my father. They all laughed and gave me smile.
"That's what I said when I found out about you and Fred." James whispered in my ear.
