Better Than Toast (A Phanfic)

After All This Time

Phil's POV
Today is the day I've waited for. Dan and I are finally getting married! His family finally supports him fully after realizing how much we love each other. I'm getting nervous, but I don't know why. We love each other and I can't wait to be able to call him my husband.

An hour later, I was waiting at the alter for my soon to be husband, then suddenly the doors opened and there he was. He looked gorgeous as usual, but especially with his tuxedo. I'm already tearing up a little and he isn't even right in front of me. He gave me his cute little awkward smile, with all eyes on him. His mum is walking with him and I'm glad to see them close again. When they finally reach me, I grab his hand and look into his beautiful eyes. He will soon be mine forever. I'll never get over how beautiful he is. The ceremony began and when it got to our vows, I was nervous that I would mess up.
"Dan, I've loved you forever. At first, I thought it was like brothers, but then I realized it wasn't. The day that you woke me up from my dream the week you asked me out, and I said I was dreaming about Louis Tomlinson, I was dreaming about you and I wasn't sure what it meant. I didn't tell you then, because I was afraid you didn't feel the same. You did though, so the day you asked me out I felt incredibly stupid. I don't know how I didn't realize how beautiful you are and how you complete me (A/N dip me dip me). I should've realized you loved me sooner, and I'm sorry you had to wait so long, but now we have the rest of our lives to make up for it. I love you, Dan." At this point both Dan and I were crying along with our mums. It was his turn to say his vows and what he said made my heart stop.
"I loved you my whole life. It wasn't just a few weeks before we started dating. It was ever since I knew what loving somebody was. You are the only person I have ever thought of dating or marrying, other than the unrealistic dreams of marrying a celebrity. You are the only person I knew I had a chance with that I wanted to marry. It's always been you. I've waited for this day my whole life, and now I am standing in front of my husband to be, looking into his beautiful blue eyes. If our love doesn't teach people not to give up, I don't know what will. Not only are you my best friend, but you are my one and only love." Now the tears won't stop and neither will my grin. We continued with the wedding until we heard "I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may kiss your groom." This is now the happiest day in my life. We kissed with such a deep love, that I could feel myself grinning into it with happy tears still rolling down my face.
"I love you Daniel."
"And I love you Philip."
"You're better than toast."
"Wow you really do love me a lot."
