Better Than Toast (A Phanfic)

I can't believe that's what was wrong with Dan. He thought I was going to hate him after he told me! It's sad that he thinks I could ever hate him. I would never hate him EVER!!!! I'm just glad he finally told me, because now we can both be happy. I got my best friend back, we are going on a date, and maybe I'll finally have a boyfriend. I've always liked Dan I just was afraid to admit it to myself. I never found anyone else I liked and he's probably the reason why. Who could anybody like more than they like Dan? He's so sweet to someone he is friends with minus the occasional sarcastic comment, he's gorgeous,he's funny, and did I mention he's gorgeous? I did?! (A/N INTERROBANG) Well he is gorgeous! He thinks he is ugly and I just can't believe he does. His brown eyes are so beautiful, his hair is very soft and I mean he has a great haircut, and everything about him is just beautiful. Dare I say it he's adorable. I know he doesn't like being called cute or adorable by anyone, but he is. I don't know why I never admitted how cute he was to myself. I'm one of those people who doesn't like to call guys hot. It's almost always cute, beautiful, gorgeous, adorable, or handsome...I also just call guys attractive, because I'm weird. I'm so excited for our date tonight.

Dan told me to dress warm but comfortable so I put on my yellow jumper and my black jeans after taking a shower. I grabbed my shoes and a jacket and headed out to Dan who was waiting in the living room on the couch. He's wearing the green jumper that I'm pretty sure he stole from me when he was sick, and his usual jeans and shoes. "Hey Dan I'm ready to go."
"Okay then let's go!"

Dan led me towards the park where I saw, set out on the grass, a blanket with a picnic basket and candles set on it. "It's lovely Dan."
"This is only part of the date."
"Well I'm sure if the beginning is this great the rest will be even better."
"I hope so." With that we sat down and began eating.

While we were eating we just talked as we usually would, but with more staring at each other. Then Dan said, "You know how yesterday I said that I love you? I meant it Phil. You are the one person in my life who I love more than anything."
"I love you too Dan I really do." Then what happened was the best thing. Dan and I had our first kiss. I can't even describe it in any way other than magical. It made me love him even more than I already did which is nearly impossible.

After we finished eating...and kissing, we walked a bit further and found a carnival. "Dan you are so cheesy!"
"Well if you hate me..."
"Not that kind of cheese Dan!" I laughed rolling my eyes.
"I know I'm just messing with you."
"This date is the first real date I've ever been on, but from dates I've seen in movies this is the best date ever."
"Well I'm glad to hear that!"

We went on rides for hours and then when it got dark we went back home. Honestly I feel like Dan and I are meant to be and that's after one date. People always say you should marry your best friend and that's what Dan is to me. When we got home and got ready for bed we decided that we would start cuddling at night. It isn't weird that we are doing that after the first week since we've literally been friends forever, and we cuddled before but just on the couch. I find it odd being the little spoon but it's nice. Sometimes it's nice to feel small compared to someone when you're so tall. I can definitely get used to the feeling of being in Dan's arms. I never had anybody treat me with this much love other than my mum. I really do enjoy this and I hope it stays like this forever.

A/N woah there 714 words not counting the authors note...longest chapter in the whole thing! What was your opinion on the date? I always do cliché things since I've never actually dated anyone so I just do things I think are cute that people do in books and movies. And by books I mean fanfic because I don't read het books. I hope you enjoyed it. Keep being a llama danosaur philion.
