"I'm going down, and you have watched me drown, in a river of tears, lost beneath the stream."
-Alessia Cara
You said you loved me before you dug my grave
You never kissed me goodbye before I was pulled away by the tidal wave
I guess I was never good enough to save
So I slowly walk away on my trail you paved
It wasn't good enough, the love I gave
You take it all back as you watch me cave
As the hurt spread across my face is laved
And you continue to solemnly dig my grave
I somehow wish our love was never saved
Because if it hadn't, I would be happy, baring my final goodbye with this sad wave
