I sighed, playing with Dylan's hair as we were in the hospital. My dad is okay, really, just a broken rib.
Dylan suffered the loss of two quarts of blood, and a major concussion, so therefore, is not alright.
I saw my dad, in a wheelchair, staring at me from the corner of my eye. I pretended to know that he's not there.
I kissed Dylan's forehead," I love you Dylan. I can't even tell you how much I love you. I fee like it's all my fault that this happened to you, and I'm so sorry. I'll never forgive myself. I'm a horrible person and I-"
My dad cut me off," Kalle?"
I felt tears slip my eyes, and I looked at him," What do you want now!? Are you going to kill him in his sleep? Make me get an abortion? I want nothing to do with you, you'll never be like my dad!"
I knew that was a tough blow, my dad, his brother, his weakness. I wiped my tears away, and he said," That's a little harsh, don't you think?"
I heard the anger in his voice, and it lit a spark inside of me.
"Giving my boyfriend a major concussion is a little harsh, don't you think?"
He said," You two," he pointed to Dylan and I,"-cannot see each other for three months, you're grounded. And yes, you are getting an abortion, thanks for the idea, and we're moving to Paris, with your Aunt Keeley and Uncle Mason. You're grounded for exactly five months, no TV, phone, laptop, computer, going to any place except church. Every privilege you had, is now taken away. You've been nothing but a pain in the ass towards me lately, your mom and dad would be ashamed."
I gaped.
All I could say was," No."
He sickly smiled," No?"
I nodded," No."
He laughed wholeheartedly. Wait, he can't, he doesn't have a heart," What makes you think you can say 'no' to me?"
I stood up," I'm 18, officially in a month." I run out of the door, hearing my uncle's yells. My big plan for me staying is going to work.
