My First Roadtrip (Chap.5)

"I can't believe that we're finally graduating!"
Alyson squealed with excitement and I laughed. I mumbled," I know."
She looked at me," Brighten up! We're moving on to the next chapter of our lives!"
I sighed," But I don't want to move on without him."
I stared at Dylan... And his new girlfriend.
Yeah, Dylan and I broke up after seven months of a relationship. Two months after, he got a new girlfriend, and I... I haven't moved on yet.
I loved him, but for some reason, he just 'didn't feel it' anymore. But, as a senior class, we're going on a road trip, and I would be excited, but Dylan and his girlfriend and Brenton are coming, so I don't think I'll have fun.
*after graduation ceremony*
I grabbed my two suitcases, and I loaded onto the bus. We had assigned seats, according to the teachers, so Mr. Dale said," Kalle, beside Dylan."
I immediately started," But-"
He cut me off," No objections, Ms. Grands."
I sighed defeatedly, sitting beside Dylan, ignoring his presence. This is going to be a long ride.
I feel someone start to shake me, and they say," Kalle, wake up."
I groggily open my eyes then rub them. I yawn, then wrap my arms around whoever woke me up.
They chuckle," Kalle."
I focus on the male voice, and it's Dylan. I hurriedly unwrapped my arms and grabbed my bags. I quickly say," Sorry, I'm going to go."
He called out," Kalle, wait up!"
I ushered away, praying I won't see him or Brenton or his girlfriend throughout the trip again.

A guy, around 20 or 21, straps me up and smiles," Ready to zip line?"
I shook my head," No."
He frowns," Do you want someone to come with you? Like a friend?"
I nodded," But my friends aren't here."
The last thing I expected was," I'll go with her."
I saw Dylan, his girlfriend's jaw on the ground, Brenton angry beside her. The guy nodded," Okay, I'll strap you two up and together."
I sighed, knowing that I had no way out of this. Dylan was hooked up and strapped together with me, and he wrapped his arms around me, and whispers in my ear," I need to talk to you."
I whispered back," Fat chance."
Then, they guy pushed up and we zip lined through the forest of Tennessee.

Alyson grabbed her bags," I had the best time, I can't believe that it's already over!"
I nodded," I know!"
Then, I saw Dylan and his obnoxious girlfriend right beside him. She laughed at something Brenton said, but Dylan wasn't paying attention to them. His eyes were focused on me.
Brenton followed Dylan's gaze, and his eyes landed on me. Brenton whispered something to Dylan's girlfriend, she looked at me, then she attached herself to Dylan, and kissed him.
I rolled my eyes at how childish they were being, and looked away. Wow, what a wonderful road trip.
