Blake's morning routine went smoothly, but this wasn't an ordinary day. She searched through her closet looking for her bag.

"Oh where is it?" Blake wondered to herself. She knew she had seen it last night. Blake sat down on her couch and thought.

"Wait!" Blake exclaimed as she raced to her bedroom and looked under her bed.

"Man, I've got to get going" Blake mumbled as she quickly grabbed her bag. She started to race down the stairs of the apartment building and was out of the building in 2 minutes. Blake started to calm herself down and steadied her pace to her usual strut. She began to head for the monorail all the while adjusting her bow as she always did when she was nervous.

"Watch out!" Came a voice from behind Blake and as she turned around she saw a boy around the same age as her sprint towards her. With the reflexes of a cat Blake side stepped and avoided the sprinting boy.

"Hey careful!" Blake shouted at the boy.

"Sorry!" He shouted back. What a haphazard boy, Blake thought to herself. Once at the monorail Blake started to walk to the ticket vendor.

"One ticket to Beacon academy please" Blake asked the vendor. After receiving her ticket she started to head towards the carriage.

Blake could barely contain her excitement. "I'm going to beacon, I'm going to beacon" Blake kept repeating to herself. Blake looked around the carriage and found an empty seat near the back, soon the carriage started to fill up with what looked like other students that would attend beacon. Blake noticed most of them were in groups and that the seat next to her was one of the only free seats.

Suddenly a blonde boy ran into the carriage and tripped, falling onto the ground. "Oh no" Blake thought to herself, it was the boy who had nearly ran into her. Everyone was laughing at the blonde boy as he got up and started to walk towards Blake.

"Don't come over please" Blake prayed to herself. But of course the blonde boy walked straight to Blake and sat down.

"H-hi" The blonde said to Blake.
"I'm Juane"

"Um.. Hello Juane, are you going to Beacon Academy too?" Blake questioned.

"Yeah of course, where else would a brilliant warrior such as myself go to?" Juane stated.

Blake didn't think much of Juane.
"Have you won any tournaments Juane?"

"Uh... Tournaments?" Juane said nervously. "H-hey you haven't even told me your name yet" Juane

"Changing the subject are we?" Blake smirked. "The names Blake, Blake Belladonna. Your the boy who almost ran into me"

"Oh yeah..." Juane smiled nervously.
"Sorry about that".

"That's quite all right" Blake said with I slight edge to her tone, but she was smiling. She liked Juane but definitely wouldn't want to be on a team with him, he didn't look like the brilliant warrior he made himself to be.

"Hey your kinda cute" Juane said to Blake.

"Excuse me?" Blake said
"I said-"
"I know what you said!" Blake said.
"Sorry, I was stating a fact" Juane said appoligecticly.
"Actually that was an opinion, and for your information I'm not really into guys" Blake said curtly.

"What are you into animals or something" Juane said jokingly.

"What!?" Blake exclaimed loudly.
"How do y-"

"Calm down it was a joke" Juane said.
"Your not actually into animals are you?" He said curiously

"No, of course not". Blake said. This conversation wasn't going well and Blake quickly dug a book out of bag and started to read.

A few hours later the carriage stopped and Blake looked up with anticipation, there it was. Blake exited the carriage and gave a half hearted wave to Juane who smiled nervously. She headed towards what would be her home for the next four years of her life: Beacon academy. Excitement raced through Blake as she strutted to the magnificent castle.

Blake was tired from the journey and decided to finish her chapter before entering the castle. As she was reading she overheard two girls arguing, or to put more accurately one girl verbally wailing on the other about dust. Blake didn't mind too much and even when she heard an explosion come from the girls she didn't look up. A few seconds later a flask of red dust rolled next to Blake's foot and caught her attention. The flask bore the Schnee dust companies logo and Blake picked it up, she looked at the two girls and saw someone she recognized. A girl in a white dress was yelling at a young girl in red.

"We're here to fight monsters, so watch where your going!" The girl in white said in a stern, superior voice.

"Hey I said I was sorry PRINCESS!" The girl in red said defiantly.

"Its heiress actually" Blake corrected the girl in red calmly.
"Wiess Schnee, the heiress to the Schnee dust company: one of the largest producers of energy propellent in the world." Blake said to both of the girls.

"Finally some recognition" Wiess Schnee said giving a glare to the girl in red.

"The same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners." Blake said coldly

"What! How dare... The nerve of..." Wiess said with anger as the girl in red giggled.

Wiess walked up to Blake, grabbed the flask from Blake's hand with an "Ugh!" And walked off.

"I promise I'll make it up to you" The girl in red shouted at Wiess. No response.

Blake decided to leave, not wanting to engage in another possibly awkward conversation.

"I better not be on HER team or I don't think I'll be able to stand the next few years." Blake mumbled to herself as she started to walk into her new home.
