Chapter 2: In love with a boy with a secret

Slowly she awoke, a sharp pain came from her head. Memories began to flood back to her as she remembered what had happened. She was about to use her lucky charm then.. that was the last thing she remembered. Panic instantly ran through her mind as she quickly began to look around for her beloved Tikki. "Tikki?!" She whispered lightly, no one with normal hearing could hear it but an unlucky black cat could.

"I'm right here silly." Said the voice of Tikki who was eating a cookie that had been in her bag. A sigh of relief came out of Marinette as she picked up the small little fairy like creature. "I'm so glad you're alright." She said holding her little friend, she looked up and finally began to notice her surroundings. This wasn't the place she was before, for the last place she was on a roof on some building fighting Dreamander.

"You need to transform again and catch The Dreamander!" Said Tikki before Marinette had a chance to ask how she had gotten there. She looked around once more, she quickly took a look around the area she had been placed in. It looked to be an old building. The walls were faded in color and had begun to start to decay. She looked back and nodded to her little friend telling her she was ready to become Ladybug again.

"Tikki transform!" She said as her kwami flew into her earnings after she began to transform into the city's most beloved hero, Ladybug. With a bright light she was now Ladybug, she jumped around the pile of rubble that she had been hiding behind and began to run after The Dreamander for what he had done.

A ear twitched at the slightest noise that anything made, but this noise was the noise of his lover running back out to danger. He slowly opened his eyes and looked down at the sound of the noise from the safety of the rafters. His green cat eyes glowing with the hunger for his princess to be his, he jumped down the ground below and chased after her, never losing track of her as they ran.

The sun would be going down soon Lady had noted observing the sky, the colors of reds and blues mixed with shades of pinks and purples. These were one of the days she liked the most if she wasn't busy with her newest villain. She grabbed her yo-yo and threw it toward the roofs, it grabbed it and she began to fly through the air looking for The Dreamander for a rematch. Questions buzzed through her mind as she searched, like how in the world did she end up in that building and where in the world was her partner.

Chat had taken his chance and made if the way in front of her almost knocking the two of them down. He grinned as he looked back at his beauty. He couldn't be said staring at her eyes but she wasn't having any of it. "Not now Chat, we have to The Dreamander!" She said zipping away after the madman. Chat smiled as he followed after her, how could someone like her like hanging out with someone like him?

She stopped once she was behind him, The Dreamander was wearing a dark blue cape that seemed like she was staring at the night sky. His hair a light grey that seemed like it was also silver in color in the right lighting. He spun away to face the two heroes, his face that was once a large grin changed to a cold stare.

"It's time to stop you!" Lady said getting her yo-yo ready, Chat was now next to her with his staff at the ready as well. This time before The Dreamander had a chance to attack them Chat moved lightning fast hitting him in the side knocking him to the next roof. Lady stood there in shock for a moment before taking the chance to get the pen and smash it.

She jumped over to the roof where the Dreamander had been thrown, he had stunned which was good, to say the least. What was that all about? She thought as she picked up the pen, it looked like a normal pen. She grabbed both ends before breaking the object into two pieces. A dark colored butterfly flew out of the pen and began to fly away but Ladybug was quicker. "Time to catch this vile creature!" She said softly like normal.

She tapped the top of her yo-yo letting it open up to catch the cursed butterfly. She swung it around before she finally caught it and let it stay inside her yo-yo for a moment. Once it was done being cleaned she tapped it again releasing a white colored butterfly. "Bye, bye little butterfly." She said as if on cue, she waved goodbye then throw her yo-yo into the air. "Now time to cleanse." She said letting her powers make everything go back to normal. Once everything was done she looked around to talk to her partner who would come up with some clever flirt or cat pun but he was nowhere to be seen.

She thought it was a bit odd but then again maybe his time was up. She sighed before zipping away toward home. A moment later she was on the roof of her apartment, with a glow of light she was back to being Marinette. She quickly looked down at her phone and almost yelled, oh it was a LOT later then she thought. What if her best friend came over when she has gone? Questions began to arise as she looked over Paris, but the main question was how she ended up in that place and did that mean someone knew her secret.

Marinette for the millionth time overslept, she had awoken with only a few minutes to get herself to school. She dashed out of the door and began to run toward the building. She could not believe that she was late AGAIN. This was the third time this week. She dashed around the corners and made sure to trip and or hit anyone. She opened the school doors and began to run up the stairs, one minute the clock read. Panic rushed her as she ran through the hall and into her first-hour class. She quickly took her seat just before the bell, she then laid her head on her desk and waited for class to begin.

Her best friend looked over at her and sighed. "You know you really should get yourself an alarm clock." She said reverting back to her phone. "I know..." Marinette mumbled put as she kept her head there. She looked up at the sound of her favorite laugh, his blond hair was all she could see since he sat behind him. She smiled like someone who was star struck, it was more love. He was laughing at a joke that his best friend had told him, in order to chat to his friend he turned his body making Marinette see the rest of his gorgeous face. He had one of prettiest green eyes that sometimes looked just like the greenest grass. 

He turned to look at him and make eye contact with hers. Panic ran down her as her cheeks become a bright red. "H-hh-I A-Adrian.." She said as awkwardly waved to him,    But before he could get out any words to reply to her he was stopped by the teacher. "Now we will begin." The teacher said. Adrian turned back around and sighed, how was he going to talk to her? He wanted to ask her out now, he had a little crush on her before but now he was in love.
