Deep lines etched her face

Glassy eyes wrinkled with knowledge

Soft slender hands trembling with age

Thunk, thunk, thunk as she made it to her bed

The fabric sank lightly as it made contact with her skin

She opened a drawer

And held a faded memory in her hand

Their beaming smiles were beautiful along with hers

Tears seemed to cease her eyes

But a smile escaped her lips

'I hope I make it to tomorrow.

Just till I see them again'

With raspy voice she said

And she was drowned in dreams
