Prologue

Here's the prologue to my first story on wattpad. This sets up the story but the actual story part won't start until the first chapter. Please don't steal any ideas or plot. The stuff in italics are side comments the main character and narrator is making. Read and comment

Prologue

I want to make it clear that I am NOT a guy. I don't care what everyone says, I'm pretty damn sure I have breasts.

Here's some facts about the story your're finally going to hear from the right person.

ONE, it's true. TWO, you've heard it before. THREE, the people who told you this story before are big, fat, sexist, liars.

Snow White is a very popular fairy tale and there have been many versions. What drives me crazy though is that none are true. I mean really, couldn't there have been a girl around to write down what really happened. Come on, it's not like guys were going tell the true story, they'd be too afraid of being considered wimps or some other, probably true, junk like that. You see stupid guys like those idiotic Grimm brothers who are considered so great because they made up a few lies.

(They really were jerks that thought they could get any girl they wanted with just a snap of their fingers; yeah right, idiots.)

Frankly I don't even get how they could mix it up so much to where they said guys were actually girls and girls were actually guys. Helllooo, long hair, hips, BREASTS! But hey it's like I said earlier they were idiots.

Now I should probably get back to the point of the story. First all I need to clear up some information about the characters before I start, otherwise you won't know what I'm talking about when the princess isn't actually a princess... I'll get to that in a short bit though.

Well there are going to be a few more characters than what you're probably used to; such as a king, three princes total, and of course the most awesome group of thieves that you could ever met.

I mean they truly are amazing, able to steal anything and all of them the most gorgeous people that exist on the planet, no, the whole universe. They are as perfect as UNICORNS!

(As you can probably tell I was being forced to write all that absolutely ridiculous and mostly untrue junk about those thieves.)

Anyway I really need to learn how to stay on track when I'm talking to other people, I mean sure it's fine to go off on a tangent when I'm talking to myself but when I'm talking to actual people then it's literally a whole different story.

Anywaaay... back to the characters. I'm only going to go through the major three characters because if I went through all of them then we'd be here for hours and pages upon pages and never get to the story.

First, there still is a very wicked queen, who is beautiful and evil and she has magic and she is one of the few characters who was actually the same in the Grimm story and didn't completely disappear like so many of the others. But the point is that she does exist and that she is absolutely evil, which of course means that, I don't why anyone can even stand her, let alone like her. But hey, if they don't mind psychos then that's their problem.

Second, the beautiful princess isn't in fact a princess, like I mentioned earlier, but a prince. Now, he is a handsome prince and the queen does want him dead but not because he's more beautiful than her, that would be just strange and really ridiculous. All she wants is very simple, power, of course he just happens to stand in her way and so she wants him gone.

Personally I think that she wanted him dead for another reason as well, he is so ANNOYING!!!!! Really, he drives me so freaking insane that I can't stand it sometimes and I feel like bashing his head against the nearest tree just to shut him up.

Finally that brings us to the last character that I'm gonna mention. First though I want to make it clear that there is no prince from another kingdom that is going to save the day.

You've heard of the huntsman right? Was supposed to kill Snow White but fell in love with her and didn't... Well I bet you can already guess that isn't exactly right, right? The most obvious difference is that IT'S NOT A MAN!

Oh no, the huntsman you've heard about in the Snow White story is not actually a man but a girl. Also there's the fact that the huntswoman, though she does hunt, doesn't only hunt. She’s an everyday rustic, who just so happens to also be a bounty hunter, heartbreaker, mercenary, thief, and assassin, among a few other things.

These are the people this story is about, not those made-up fake characters the Grimm brothers came up with to make men feel better about themselves. Frankly I don't even know why they called the story Snow White. You see, my name is Scarlet and this is my story. However the story doesn't begin with me, but many miles away in a completely different kingdom...
