I sat in the darkness for longer than I wanted to. I hated how I could still feel my body yet at the same time I couldn't. All of this seemed so strange, so uncomfortable. I longed to sit up and race away from what whatever was happening, but I couldn't. I couldn't remember how to work my body. I couldn't remember anything. I wished to reach out my hand and touch something, feel it. Everything seemed to twitch with building energy. But I couldn't move, so I had to deal with the buildup of potential power.
-------------
Something seemed to be shoved into my chest, and my eyes flew open. I gasped for breath, sitting up quickly. I hugged my legs, curling up into a ball position. I was shaking violently, I knew I probably looked like a scared mess. "Ah, he finally awakes!" Cooed a reptile monster standing in front of me. "Alphys?" I asked, my voice deathly low. "Yeah?"
"Never. Do. That. Again." I growled, my feet sliding out from under me. I sat on the edge of whatever I was sitting on and stared at her right in the eyes. "Okay, then! You want to stay here or do you want to leave? I'm honestly getting tired of this bug you have. I can't find it anywhere."
"Is that why it took so long to wake up?" I asked, perplexed. "Yes."
"How long was I out?"
"Two weeks. Sorry, radiators don't build themselves." She said, laughing a bit. "How's Sans?" I asked. "He came in here a lot, actually. Always wanting to check on you. Heh, once he fell asleep next to you. It was so cute! I'm sure it was an accident though..." She said, trailing off when she saw my expression. "Where is he?" I asked coolly, half wishing to see him again. I wanted to check on him. "I don't know. He disappeared about three days ago." I held my breath. I knew where he was. "Can I leave?" I asked, wanted to head out immediately. "Um, sure. I'll keep my phone on."
"Thank you."

Wind buffeted my face as I walked over to the stables. Every wire in my body screamed at me to stop. But I didn't. I needed to save my friend. I stepped through the titanium bars, the metal on my blaster clinking against the bars as I slipped through them.
"Sans? Saaaaaaaaans!" I called out. Everything was a shade of monochrome, and it messed with my eyes. Everything seemed to blend together to create a black hole-like mess of a room. My eyes averted to a tiny golden flower, and I found myself walking over to it. I crouched down to get a closer look at it. I reached out to touch its delicate petals, but drew my hand back when it started laughing. "You just don't get it, do you?" It said. I frowned. "What do you want, Flowey?" I snapped. "I want to warn you. Sans is not as he seems. So go in there..." He started to smile evilly. "And you'll die over and over and over. Who knows? Maybe Frisk will reset. Maybe you can disappear from existence." He smiled wider. "You're not supposed to be here."  I stepped back. "What?"
"You heard me. You shouldn't be here. Alphys should never have thought you up. This might just be the ticket for Frisk to hit the True Reset button. Then you can never exist again. Haha, it's funny. You're scaring them, and what can scare Frisk? Nothing, up until now. Now? You." He cackled, and slipped through a crack in the ground. I gulped uncertainly and continued over to the huge steel doors that led to the arena.

Targets. I had never noticed them before, stacked on the far left wall. A small family, tightly packed together for safety. I grinned, my blaster clicked to signal it was loaded. Not safe enough. As the trigger fired, I laughed.
Boom! the target lit on fire square center, wood splintering against the ground gave me chills. Bullseye. I stepped up to face the target beside it, for it awaited the same fate.
Boom! Bullseye. I was a natural! A giggle of pleasure tickled my throat, a warm feeling of belonging easing my trigger-happy blaster. Was I a blaster in disguise? A lab rat, a living weapon, and a creature without love all in one? Sounded similar to me. I aimed for the third target, closing my eyes this time.
Boom! Squee!
"Huh?" I opened my eyes, a horrible squeal twitching in my ears. By the target, flames had begun to spread with a fetid odor in tow. The smell-it had not been there before. I had shot something other then the target, my eyes widened win dreadful delight. The thrill of scarlet blood drained by my doing exited me somehow, I licked my lips in determination, edging closer to the target. The creature squealed again, it's desperate cry playing now on repeat in my head. A muffled Nami voice vibrated in my chest, "Neo, your electronic pulse is rising, I need to turn your arm passages down a bit to avoid over-voltage." The targets shivered, The blistering heat signaling only destruction. Claws scraped on the cemented floor, I kicked a burning target aside. There, a shriveled, writhing, curled up baby Gaster Blaster lay. It whined in agony, attempting to push itself away from the monster it knew I was. Ironic, because it was the real monster. A killing machine destined to be, funny that it now lay at my mercy. Blue smoke dribbled out of it's eyes, it appeared to be crying it it's own odd way. It glanced up at me, it's eyes wide and round, pleading with all of the hope it never had. Just maybe, maybe, this destructive ailien with the power of fire and death would leave it alone, just maybe. Maybe it would see another day, not that it had seen many. As it twitched it's shoulder, I noticed something irregular. The whole right side of it's body appeared blistered and reddened, black liquid dripping from many points around the creature's neck and chest. The blaster seemed to have rolled over in defense of it's wound, protecting it from me. I had shot it in my three-target spree, and now it was at it's knees in mercy. I readied my blaster again, planning to put it out of it's misery. Something growled behind me, I twisted around with a lifted brow. A gigantic blaster locked eyes with me, blue smoke pillowing from it's eyes and mouth. It's indomitable iris widened, an almost jeering glance falling apon what it had for a face.
Irony, right? It seemed to say. I had two options. Run, or blast. Blast. My at straightened, my blaster chirped to life. The whirring sound it made when loading appeared to annoy the blaster.
You think that small hand will hurt me? Oh, this isn't a hand, buddy. A click allowed me to openly fire, I dug my feet into the ground. Fire. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting to enjoy every minute of the familiar boom. But noting happened . Maybe it was a blank round? I fired again. Boom? No boom. My eyes fluttered open, I shook my blaster furiously.
"Why. Won't. You. Work?!" I screamed, the Gaster baster twisting It's head in amusement. A low grumble shook my feet, the Gaster baster was laughing at me. I groaned, turning to look up at the immense creature.
"I'm dead meat, aren't I....Terrence? " I retorted halfheartedly, gesturing to the name tag placed around the blaster's neck.
"Or do you prefer B01? Wait...does that mean you are one of the Originals? Is that why you are so big?" I chuckled, a sheepish grin spreading across my face. This was my fate, to die at the feet of this monster laughing, right? I really was going crazy.
"Well, big man, give me your best shot!" I cry, artificial tears streaming down my face. "Tell Sans I love him!" I bellowed hysterically, shivers flew through my body. I was going to die, right here and right now. Laughing through hysterical tears. The blaster, obviously amused, began to open it's mouth. Blue smoke pooled out of it, clouding my vision.
"Texting Sans: "I love you" now." Nami uttered, her scared tone completing our harmony. "Are you sure that was a good idea? It is very risky to do that stuff over text, you know. Would you like me to call him?"
Then Terrence fired.
Light. Blinding light bearing through every corner of my vision, nowhere to hide. Warmth around me seemed to sit me down, tell me things were ok. I gulped, Yearningg to let go, to accept fate. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for darkness to take me away. Seconds passed, still nothing.
"Wha? Nami...what is happening?"
"Based on my reading, I would say you have made a new friend. If you open your eyes, Neo, you will see that you are not in fact dead nor dying." Nami replied, I did as I was told and flickered my eyes open. Blue mist surrounded me, almost like a force field. As my eyes adjusted to the new light, the small injured baby blaster appeared in front of me, blocking us from the blast. The bigger blaster began to withdraw his power, turning away in shame. The black must slowly faded out, and my little friend scurried over to it's apparent father. I opened my chest pocket, withdrawing my phone.
"Nami, based on body language, can you translate?"
"Yes, I am programmed to understand all forms of communication, though I have never translated this type before. I will try my best. The little one says, "Do not feel bad." The big one says, "No, I feel bad. " My gaze shifted to the Monstrous creatures, the baby rubbing against what appeared to be his father's chest. "Thank you. Keep translating for me, please."
"That would be no problem, Neo." The father, or Terrance, seemed to look sheepish. "Sorry. I did not mean to hurt you. I must protect him. The skeleton killed Vhelma." I frowned. "Killed?" I echoed. "Yes." The baby said. "She was just protecting me... From you. Why do you keep coming back?" It asked. "You said you loved him. The skeleton. Why?" I shrugged, perplexed by my own emotions. The baby blaster inched away, it's eyes widening in fear. I turned around. The very skeleton they were talking about seemed to have teleported to the spot. "Hey, kiddo." He said. I stepped back as well. "What?" I responded sharply. "You okay? B01 and...that uncalled for reproduction seemed to have wanted to attack you."
"Terrance." Nami seemed to say with the fierceness that was held in the adult blaster's eyes. Sans snorted. "Go back, B01." He said, waving his hand. Terrance stalked away, it's tail(?) seemed to drag on the ground, and the baby stood, fear making its body shake. I picked it up, thankful that my blaster had turned back into a hand. "Put it down, Neo." Said Sans. He looked worried. "Papyrus held one once... It didn't turn out so well." He said nervously. "Well I'm not Papyrus." I said, stroking the baby's head. It seemed to smile, and it buried itself in my arms when Sans reached out to it. It squealed again, this time more fear than pain. "God, it's grown attached to you. That's bad." Sans said, starting to pace. I smiled. "Good...?" I trailed off, staring at Sans. "I heard what you said. I won't tell anyone."
"I-It was a moment of fear!" I said, still overjoyed that I couldn't sweat. "I understand. Now, come on. Put B127 down." He said. I squatted down and opened my arms, hoping it would jump out of them. It didn't. It held on for dear life on the teal heart where I stored everything, and it almost hurt. I stroked it, and stood back up. "Come on, then." I said, marching out of the arena. "There's places to go, Blasters to name."
"T-That doesn't make any sense!" Sans said, having to speedwalk to match my fast pace out of the arena. Nami's voice chirped one last time, to voice Terrance. "Goodbye, Jacin." And I felt the buzz that my phone had died. "Thanks, Nami." I said, opening the stable doors to leave.
